Jelavic stank the place out. Of course it was the right decision to take him off.

He was denied by a world class save with a great header and was on the shoulder looking for ball constantly. Not saying he played "well" but with that service he could do feck all about it!

What the hell did Kone do other than stand still for twenty minutes? At least Jelavic moved around the pitch FFS.

Van Persie would have struggled with that service today as we had no clue whatsoever how to pull a packed defence out of position. Apart from Barkley our entire midfield looked utterly confused all game.

One ball in behind the defence all day and that was from a 19 year old kid on loan.

We had a manager for 11 years that takes some time to change and put in a different system. Rome wasnt built in a day.

Even kopites didnt give Brenda as hard a time as some of you lot when they were bottom last year.

These things take time and I have seen progress in each of the three games.

No doubt it will click before long and results will come. At the moment the players are trying a bit too hard to live up to the 70% possession doctrine. Obviously RM doesn´t want us to keep the ball all day if it means we never score.

Draws cost us Europe last year and it's looking deja vu so far. Nothing up front so far but not dissapointed we still font seem to have a plan B. We just have a different plan A.

We dominate possession, which results in a better defense, as exhibited by 2 clean sheets in a row. Last year we couldn't keep a clean sheet to save our life.

As mentioned, questionable ref decisions have cost us potentially 6 more points. If we were on 7 points right now, everyone would be feeling a lot different.

Barkley is a star.

Delefeou looks a player. He's been better than Mirallas so far. He needs to play.

The goals will come. I'd rather we be sound in possession and defensively, because we can grind out points until the dam bursts.

I expect mid table this year. It's a transition year and I think if you just sit back and think of this as a project, you'll be a lot less miserable.
