No mate. I hate this idea.

If you want Moyes back mate, just say.

To suggest last season was down to some weird blend of Moyes' solidity and Martinez's attacking flair is ludicrous in my opinion. Seen quite a few people say that and I don't understand the logic. Just seems like a nice way to discredit Martinez for what he did last season.

The players bought into Martinez's way of playing and it worked. Moyes had nothing to do with it.

As you didn't like Moyes and wanted him gone I take your view with a pinch of salt.

Moyes built the team. That can't be denied. There has to be parts of it still in frutation last season. If you wanna believe that Bobby klicked his fingers and they started doing everything differently fair enough. But your wrong. Habits take a while to change. Good or bad!

Yes the players bought into it. Yes Bobby did great. Of course he did and deserves a lot of credit. He made us a team that others were not expecting and didn't know how to play against. This year they do know exactly how to play against us and Bobby has no answer. And doesn't seem to think he needs an answer.

gotta run now, but I disagree. there are plenty of players and managers in the game who treat it as more than just a results business. same way I would, and many other fans.

its the beautiful game, always will be. thats more important than the money and success for me even if ultimately that is getting squeezed out.

If I wanna watch football for entertainment I will watch a game like tonight, I dont care who wins, I just want to watch a good game of football.

I dont watch Everton to be entertained, I watch Everton cos its all I know, its all I think about, watching Everton isnt fun, its my passion and the only thing that matters is winning.

Football's about winning.

Style is great to have and you should aspire to play a decent brand eventually, but results are what actually counts.

Looking at Martinez' previous success here where he was managing to do both for a whole season, I believe that given time out of the season to address the issues that have dogged us this season, there is more than enough reason to believe (believe as opposed to know for sure) we can enjoy more of 2013-14 Everton in the long-run.

a very annoying thing is its always about him and his fckin stupid philosophy, I couldn't care less about either. This should be about Everton FC and whats good for us. Fck him. I would like him to turn it around but I'm not fussed if he's sacked either, what we have at the minute is unacceptable no matter who is in charge. It really is p!ss poor.

Hahahaha

That's the best post Ever!!

Last 10 games are definitely going to be about the results, I personally would accept the odd bad performance/ result if I could see he was attempting to bring about a positive result and changing a few things ( dropping Howard for Kiev home) for a start. Won't hold my breath.

What are you going on about.

What has you watching random teams got to do with Everton winning; I watch other teams as well and don't give a monkeys arse if they win or loose.

Football is about winning, everything else comes second.

And it wasn't me who said it about 5pm, it was goat.

In fact do a poll and gauge people's opinion because it's getting boring now

cranky eh?

me watching random teams has nothing to do with everton winning. we are talking about football being more than JUST WINNING.

nothing i wrote should be hard to follow chris. sorry if your bored.

you can go back to replying constantly to that poster who is clearly just tryin to wind you up ;)

Not cranky, bored.

We are in an Everton forum

Watching arsenal v United to tonight I don't give a hooter who wins because I don't support them

When we play kiev and Newcastle winning matters, that's a fact, so it's not about winning. ....

I don't know about that.....that is an easy thing to say now.

I think we would really start to get fed up with dull wins in monotonous boring games.

Leaving the ground the night of the QPR victory there was a distinct lack of the normal euphoria one notices after a home win.

That was an awful game and if every match was like that a lot if people would probably stop going.
