Manchester United

There was mild improvement but I didn’t see anything myself that suggested that even if given another couple of transfer windows there would be a huge leap forward. To be so tactically rigid makes it far more straightforward for your opponents to devise a game plan against you .

As K mentioned the same thing that Moyes did on Sunday, replace one CB with another despite a good performance, is something that Amorin has done to excess even if his formation has been rigid.
I personally felt like it was really starting to work. For me they’re a better LWB and a CM that still can run fast away from really having something. The combo play between Mbuemo, Amad and Bruno (all unavailable right now) was superb.

If it were me I’d certainly want to see where the rest of this season goes before making a decision. Especially when the top targets are likely going to be available then and aren’t now.

Each to our own, I’d have wanted rid of him if I was a United fan.

This is basically the entire problem with United though. They think someone can roll up because they’re a “winner” and United will win again. There’s a lot of work that has to come first, work United didn’t have to do for a long time once Sir Alex did it back in the day, and they can’t seem to realize that until they do it again they’re not going to just go out and win.

And that they don’t see that if you take out the Fergie yrs they are back in the pack in terms of success. So this is the norm really over the life of the club….

20 games with 31 points good enough for 6th seemed like he was getting somewhere considering where they finished last year. Only have to look at spurs to see how it could have gone.

I dont think anyone really can do much better there with the current set up. So happy for an everton perspective a team above us are back in turmoil.

Lovely
Spurs are only 4 points behind them

They're fully back to being the Manure of the post-Busby era of the 70s and 80s.
Saw something on social media yesterday saying only 3 managers have ever won the league with them in their history. Busby, SAF and one other before Busby. Their post Busby and post SAF states are basically their historical norm
