I don’t know if I’ve posted this before but I’ve got an inside scoop about Old Trafford. Old Trafford has a stadium is literally doomed, hence why the club is desperate for funding to build a new stadium within the next 10 years. Sections of the ground is literally crumbling and the concrete in the ground isn’t gonna hold up much longer before it gets struck off as been unsafe.

A lad I used to teach, for the past 7 years have been working on Old Trafford, diamond drilling the concrete and reinforcing it to give it the strength it needs to be functional. He is there a lot and had to do the same job on sections of the ground plenty of times just to give it the strength otherwise it could collapse. Everyone has seen the leaks in the stadium and inside the ground but it’s in a lot worse condition than people are letting on. Fair play to him, he’s made a fortune out of the job.

I’m not sure to be honest but they are desperate for funding for a new ground. From what I was told, it’s got about 10 years max before it will be deemed un-safe. They’ll either have to build a new stadium or knock old Trafford down and re-build it from the floor up.
