Manchester United

That’s the tough part the guy is an absolute loose cannon. I still don’t see how this benefits United.
It doesn't benefit any manager of a non-top team, as you get a lot of dubious things go against you. He'll be prime "if I speak I'm in big trouble" material, and it'll be funny, but I'm not sure if it will lead to any success.

Still, on paper more progressive and potentially better in the future than Moyes obviously.

Reading and comprehension wasn't strong here on my part - the sacking doesn't benefit United but as you say, loose cannon and meltdowns aren't something they wanted to see. They're marginally better this year and I assume he promised "much better" not "just a bit", so here we are.

I know United is a complete clown show but it still is hard for me to believe that they can’t realize improvement is good even if they’re not winning the league yet. It took City time under Mancini. It took Arsenal time under Arteta. It took Liverpool time under Klopp. It’ll take them time too.

I’d have him here tomorrow

Despite everything we've seen at United, he is a very good coach, but needs a lot of things to be in place to set him up for success. Other than having 3 good CBs at the club, we literally have nothing else he'd need in place.

He was on Liverpool's shortlist, but in the end they just opted against hiring him as they'd have had to spent loads making the team suitable for 3 at the back. Ironically enough, they did the mega-spend this summer and now look much worse.

….suggestion they’ll now wait until the Summer. Suggests to me they want to see how Fletcher does, and Glasner is out of contract at the end of the season.
I don’t think it’s stupid to wait till the summer, but I don’t think Glasner takes that job. He isn’t bravado enough to absorb that chaos and I am sure will have other options.

Idk what they do. Despite thinking Amorim was out of his depth, I’m not sure where they go.

I don’t know if I’ve posted this before but I’ve got an inside scoop about Old Trafford. Old Trafford has a stadium is literally doomed, hence why the club is desperate for funding to build a new stadium within the next 10 years. Sections of the ground is literally crumbling and the concrete in the ground isn’t gonna hold up much longer before it gets struck off as been unsafe.

A lad I used to teach, for the past 7 years have been working on Old Trafford, diamond drilling the concrete and reinforcing it to give it the strength it needs to be functional. He is there a lot and had to do the same job on sections of the ground plenty of times just to give it the strength otherwise it could collapse. Everyone has seen the leaks in the stadium and inside the ground but it’s in a lot worse condition than people are letting on. Fair play to him, he’s made a fortune out of the job.

It sounds like the leadership aren’t taking any responsibility of the running of the club. From the stadium, to players calling out the facilities at the training ground. Just papering over cracks by throwing huge chunks of money in a playing squad that is bang average.

Oh, and surprised Amorim lasted this long, he’s pony.

It’s moot anyway. Amorim wanted out. He said as much, and he got his wish.
