I wouldn't say that. His delivery was consistently quality, his passing was fine and he did some good defensive work. Positioning and defensive one on ones are where I'd say he needs work.

Thats exactly what I thought of Baines when he first came to us.

I know bluefox is usually spot on but I can't for the life of me see how anyone can say Garbutt won't make it here.

I think he's a tremendous player, we have a ready made carbon copy of Baines in our reserves waiting for his chance, brilliant young player.

Everytime i've seen Garbutt, he's looked real quality. Strikes a lovely ball aswell. During HT at the Newcastle u-21's game, he was practising Ronaldo-esque free kicks. Much better player than Bidwell.
