Peter James Knight, Brenton Tarrant, Robert Dear, the Centennial Olympic Park Bomber, there are loads of examples if you look hard enough. Plenty of instances of Bhuddist terrorism in the likes of Sri Lanka and Myanmar. The Buddhist ones are rarely reported on because they don't really effect "us".

It's not even a race thing either, plenty of christian terrorism going on in the likes of Nigeria (and vice versa).

These days it seems that terrorism = muslim in the minds of many, just like terrorism = IRA back in the day.

Yes I see this argument a lot on the left. I just don't agree with it. I think that adherence to the tenets of the religion brings people to this state.Look at India and Pakistan. Same people, different religions. Look at the impact their respective religions have had upon their fortunes.

How about 'capitalism'? Capitalism is a de facto religion, it has its priests, its followers and believers. It lies to convince non believers to choose the path. It wages constant war on its adversaries. Has a god in Mammon, and has people that attack vulnerable innocents and kill them without warning.
Capitalism has its extremists, its financial jihadists, happy for collateral damage, in the pursuit of its all conquering dream. Every single day, in every single country and virtually no one pipes up.
As a country we kill more innocents by the day, we sell death and misery for profit, not prophets. So what is the difference?

I think most religions have somewhat evolved over time even when there is still the fundamentalists like those mad pastors in the states but Islam does have a problem with still clinging onto old school beliefs I mean look at countries like Saudi Arabia.

Islam isn't harmful in itself but sadly there isn't enough done to drag sections of it out of the stone age.
