Not all stupid people are racists, but all ....

Tears at ‘Nosteferatu’.

That’s excellent.

fair points. I think though in terms of volume over the last twenty years. we have a clear and undisputed winner.
Depends where you are in the world. Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army are responsible for a lot more deaths than any terrorist group has managed in the UK in the last twenty years.

Pure religiously ideological terrorist organisations generally don't exist. It's power grabs and greed hiding behind piety. We just happen to live in a world where the most impoverished populations live in politically instable countries with an often large Muslim population. These are the regions most vulnerable to such power grabs.

And the view of Western powers in those regions is often negative. Perpetrate this negativity and veil it in something as ingrained and important as religion is to those who have little else then you have radicalization. And in this country we have alienated people looking for something to make them important or vital. Terrorist organisations have always looked to inspire and exploit those people. The same way criminal gangs look to exploit the vulnerable.

I'm glad you find it all so amusing. It's a serious subject, are you able to just discuss it though without sarcasm and flippancy? it seems not.
I've given you actual figures and an academic study or two. Unless you're a very quick reader I doubt you've read them. Or maybe you're Nosferatu and could just predict what was in them without bothering. I've heard less silly things today.

Yes I see this argument a lot on the left. I just don't agree with it. I think that adherence to the tenets of the religion brings people to this state.Look at India and Pakistan. Same people, different religions. Look at the impact their respective religions have had upon their fortunes.
