I hope he doesnt, i absolutely love how a massive part of the member base here now just ridicules the preposterousness of his posts insted of trying to argue good points. You dont get anywhere with logic, so might as well have some fun with it. Dave gets his attention and i get a laugh - its a winwin.

Yep, he`s gone from being the self proclaimed serious man of the forum, to the self proclaimed forum clown.

Different approaches, same aim, to get attention.

He's got a cool name, nice hair, left footed, plays guitar, reads interesting books and wanders Liverpool with a camera.

Put him in charge of the entire club please.

Funny thing is most people mispronounce his name.

It's Leigh - ton / Lee-tun

I think he'd very much appreciate it if we all started saying it properly from this day on. Thanks (from Lay-tun and his family)

The best left back of a generation? Integrity demonstrated by refusing to sign for UTD? Humility?
He didn't refuse to sign for United he was prevented from being allowed to speak to them by Everton who were in a tug of war with Moyes over both him and Fellaini.

Moyes likes him because he's a cone layer that wont contradict him.

He's Phil Neal to Moyes's Graham Taylor: "Yes, boss...that's right boss".
? Sure it will be that he is a good pro in the past under moyes, has also done coaching here so moyes thinks is worth a chance to show what he can offer moyes with coaching and the first team. The same will be with coleman

If he did thats fine cant blame him for wanting a move that might have helped his chances for england. One of the best players i have seen play for us wasnt as lucky as some here who seen them great everton teams of the 80s. But for me the lad was quality

It casts his seditious remarks about Martinez after the first two seasons into a different light and adds context to them.

Fair to have that view never all going to think the same, but for me think he would be good, same with coleman, honestly even ashley young who i think has it in him to be a good coach if he wanted to be.

Seditious - inciting or causing people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.

US soap operas are less dramatic and have less hyperbole than this.
Call it what you like. It amounts to the same thing: he was disgruntled at Everton, especially when he had a bit of opposition from Oviedo for his position.

He threw his toys out of the pram and undermined the manager by running to the local press to hand them stories.

As I said above: I hope if he becomes a manager he gets the very same treatment.

The feller's one of life's snides imo.
