He's very sloppy with the ball. There is a laziness in his passing.

First few games for Everton you could see there was something about him. Exciting, tricky, very quick. ' An edge of the seat with the ball ' kind of player.

Right now he's ' Time to check your emails, when he's with the ball ' kind of player.
So people seriously think he's playing poorly. Even though he was in the man of the match discussion 3 days ago

Decent game and performance. Midfield needs better balance to make it more creative and less functional. Missing a proper 9 without Lukaku. Team can be a bit medium-pace without players like Lookman and Mirallas. Rooney needs to be played centrally; you don't just get his ingenuity from out wide. You can see the squad depth but worry it's all a bit similar. Don't think Sigurdsson is the answer to that either.

The Besic shouts here are hilarious, as if he would actually play like that in a competitive game. It's clear that he wanted as much time on the ball as possible and he's confident enough to do it. Don't recall him putting us in any real danger there either. Stop wetting your pants.

I missed the middle half of the game, from the looks of it we scored one, missed several others, gave up 2 really good opportunities, one saved by Stek, the other the goal conceded by our 2 backups, Martina and Stek. Mostly Martina, horribly clearance.

All in all, Im not too bothered by what should have been a tough 1-0 win if it was just the starters, and a game with several other opportunities. Im just hoping the starting lineup got enough time with eachother to start to gel before EL.
