The Besic shouts here are hilarious, as if he would actually play like that in a competitive game. It's clear that he wanted as much time on the ball as possible and he's confident enough to do it. Don't recall him putting us in any real danger there either. Stop wetting your pants.

Also played well in the other games, some beauts just like an excuse to have a pop at him though.

He's shocking.

Never ever a top half PL team player. He's a bottom half team player at best, more likely a Championship player. He underlines with every outing how he doesn't belong.

Absolutely spot on.

Both crosses at the end there, he was the wrong side of the defender and was never going to get there first.

Has Lookman gone backwards in his development? Looks to have become an easily telegraphed automaton when he was so unpredictable when he first joined us.

There is no difference between DCL and Niasse, basically the same player other than 1 is English and young.

Said it from end of last season and stick by it if we go into this season with DCL still in the squad and not out on loan something has gone wrong in the window.

Klaassen is the new Snivelley isn't he.

"Oooh no the ball is coming near me I'd better to a fancy flick... oh no I did it badly again time to hide"

He's very sloppy with the ball. There is a laziness in his passing.

First few games for Everton you could see there was something about him. Exciting, tricky, very quick. ' An edge of the seat with the ball ' kind of player.

Right now he's ' Time to check your emails, when he's with the ball ' kind of player.

Please sign the contract Ross.

Lukaku-less and Barkley-less we are pretty ropey.

That is the truth of the matter.

All these just in a couple of pages after a pre-season draw. The internet really is something.

...which underlines just how much they'll be missed.

I suggest this Dutchman gets his finger out and sign a winger of repute and a target man.
You do realise Koeman doesn't negotiate transfers so its not down to him if getting players is slow?

They were fitter than us which sometimes happens at this stage of the pre season, and that makes a hell of a difference. New players needing to get to know each other.. It's our third game. Nobody got hurt. Rooney's still a clever player. Sandro looks clever too. keane looks a player. We all know there's still a couple of positions that need sorting. We never lost. All in all a good work out.

No it doesn't underline anything. It isn't a real game and drawing conclusions like that is silly. We played Twente off the park the other day and that wasn't indicative of anything either

It's almost as if he did 'too well' when he first joined. Then Koeman dropped him for months to protect him. Hasn't looked remotely the same player since, although someone just mentioned he was the best player on the pitch v Twente? Only saw the highlights and he didn't feature! Can anyone else verify he had a great game?
