And this bit just lacks understanding of the bigger picture. If prominent kopites make comments like that in the mainstream media, it means it feeds the cycle of stories of will Ross go and who will buy him and for how much.

Don't understand the uproar, it's a testament to Barkleys blossoming ability that he is being touted for those kinds of figures to teams like United. I don't think many would bet against him continuing to develop his game and then going in a couple of years for that kind of a sum, he's a top young talent and that is a valuable commodity to any top team.
