Sadly, those comments are all over the place, especially from arrogant bellend United fans who think they can just go in anywhere they please and exploit other clubs with their economic force. Koff the lot of them. Barkley's our future, we all know he's staying at Everton for years to come.

I always thought redknapp was a poor football pundit but when he said after the first game of the start of the season that he expects villa to make top 4 I just stopped listening to him then.

Obviously he doesn't know about Moyes and Barkley's history does he. Doesn't watch Everton much.

I like Hoddle's counter comments, i.e. that the current system is and set up of our team is perfect for a player like Barkley's development, because it allows so many touches of the ball, much more than in a direct system like Moyes'

No disrespect to the original poster, but what a pathetic thread, it's completely pointless.

Well, there ya go.

You mustn't think it all that "pointless" though otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time out yer busy life to post an inane comment about a "pathetic" thred......b)

I think you've missed my point.

Don't understand the uproar, it's a testament to Barkleys blossoming ability that he is being touted for those kinds of figures to teams like United. I don't think many would bet against him continuing to develop his game and then going in a couple of years for that kind of a sum, he's a top young talent and that is a valuable commodity to any top team.

Great performance again today, long may it continue.

Maybe it is, but why mention Moyes at all?

Why not just do his job and concentrate on Barkley's performance in the game.

It has nothing to do with Moyes.

because then he'd have to concentrate and think objectively which although its what he's paid to do is something he struggles with.
