RK was asked about Ross contract an age ago fact he said it will wait till the season ended yet Lukaku was published wages the lot with 2 years left - Ross contract was on hold for some reason - if you believe what you want you are wrong!
Any contract offer would have made big news like now!

Your entire point was that Gibson was offered a contract while Barkley was not, so therefor we have made poor decisions on who to offer contracts to. You do know Barkley was offered a contract weeks ago right? I think you confuse yourself.

Koeman has consistently said he wants Ross to sign, but also that there will be competition for places. That isn't "clearly wanting him out"....it's being clear what's expected of him and every player. Surely every Everton fan wants better players and more competition for what has been a desperately under-performing team?

Both Ross and Gibson have been offered the exact same number of contracts. The difference is one accepted it, the other did not. Maybe you live in a different universe, but you cant force people sign contracts. They would be invalid if you did.

And there was a heck of a difference in both player's circumstances.

I would say Gibson could hardly believe his luck and broke the arm of whomever put the contract in front of him in order to get his pen.

Look where he is now to see what Gibbo's options were.

Ross on the other hand is allegedly being courted by one of the best teams in the league and which has become a title challenger and regular CL team in recent seasons.

Ross has better options than Gibson ever had.

Ergo it is harder to get him to sign.
