Sandro is a striker and not a replacement for Barkley so I'm not sure why you used him as an example. And whilst he wouldn't be concerned at losing a player who has scored 4 goals (thought he'd scored more but cba checking) I'm sure he'd raise an eyebrow if he knew we were selling our one creative player who is a mile ahead of any other current player in assists and chances created.Really? Do you think that Sandro, for example, is anyway affected by a miss-firing midfielder with four goals to his name leaving EFC?
Davies offers more and will offer more than Barkley.
How will we ever replace his on average 5 goals a season
Feel sorry for Walsh
You do know Silva, Coutinho, and KDB average 5 a season, yeah?
And that Mirallas signed a new deal with his average of 5 and Bolasie has never scored over 5?

That surprises me about Coutinho.
I had always thought he was a prolific goal scorer.

Had McKenzie just said Barkley isn't very bright, I don't think anyone would have disagreed. I don't even believe it was veiled racism. What I do think he was doing is having a pop at Liverpool on the anniversary of Hillsborough, which shows the kind of person he is. I reckon you're being a bit harsh insinuating people are on par with that weasel just because we think Barkley is a bit thick. Some of the comments about Ross on this thread would not have looked out of place in McKenzie's article the other week.
But we'll ignore all the assists from the last 2 seasons yeah? Sound
I agre he's been tapped up by SpursFor my money this seems to be the case. Think he would do well under Poch at Spurs, although he'd have to fight for his place more than he ever has here. Would leave him nailed on for a place in future England squads too.
What are the odds that Koeman puts Barkley on the bench, or not even on the bench tomorrow?
He's scored 12 this season, Ross has 15 in the last 3
