January Transfer Window 2026

Because we've got about 9 players to come back into the team in the coming weeks/months.

What players are available in January that are going to improve us, that don't screw us for FFP or whatever it is these days?
Player availability is something that should be ongoing, even when AFCON is over and Branthwaite and Dewsbury Hall are fit we still won't have a specialist RB or any real pace out wide,oh and a half decent striker.

That’s not true. He couldn’t answer some questions about how Arsenal played the previous season in front of the squad and Steve Holland, on of Southgate’s assistants accused him of not being interested enough in football. They basically didn’t manage him well for England so he refused to be selected then he was briefed against by England.
Well whatever, he's not signing for us anyway

Watched Castellanos for west ham in his two games so far. Not sure how much they paid for him but he looks like he can handle himself and he looks a decent player. Total opposite of my first reaction seeing beto and barry.
Could have bought him and sold the chuckle brothers.

Wouldn't say its unusual the low quality in the league as it was the same low quality last season with Liverpool strolling it without having to overly exert themselves. Arsenal are good but not amazing, the Sportwashers are nowhere near previous levels, the RS the same and the likes of Chelsea, Man Utd and Spurs are banter clubs at the moment. Villa aren't having to play amazing to be up there but have the leagues best player this season in Rogers and Newcastle are just going to be inconsistent with a manager who's arguably not up to it at the top level
It is unusual, but I'm including last year as appalling quality. That Liverpool team is level with Leicester as the weakest squad to be crowned champions in the PL era. We are entering a period, that may well be extended, of extraordinarily low quality in the PL - which is why we are seeing so many games decided by long throws etc.

But it is unusual that the league is so compressed at this stage.

It's hilarious that we've got 530 pages in this thread when our CEO said months ago we won't be signing anybody and our manager has pretty much reiterated that. Let's limp through to 15th in the league before failing to sign all of our targets again next summer and blaming "the market" for starting next season with no right back again.

Well someone has woken up all grumpy this morning 🤣

You are right though.

Not really sure why Holm would go to Inter for more playing time when he'd get immediately shunted to the bench once Dumfries is back from injury. If they want to sell and it's just us and them in it then we have a good chance probably
It’s a squad game.

CL football and a chance of playing in a title run in.

That’s before you factor in the pros and cons of living in Italy over little England.

I know which I would choose 🤣
