January Transfer Window 2026

I'm not expecting 6th at the end of the season, it was mentioned to highlight how things are currently separated by margins and if we can resuscitate our form we could have a decent top half finish, obviously dependent on a multitude of variables

If were looking to benefit from closing down those narrow margins then why aren't the club spending on players this month to bring that about?

And if they dont, as looks likely, then why shouldn't fans craw the conclusion that 'the season is effectively over"?

Amazed at the Ben white negativity. I couldn’t think of anyone better and yes I’ve seen him play. It won’t happen though. No way will Arteta let anyone go in January.
Defensively fantastic, pretty good going forward.

Would be ideal for Moyes.

Also very experienced and would allow us to bring a sub 21 year old in, in the summer to develop or the next year or two.

Be a fantastic transfer imho.

Out of the ones we've been linked with?

Emil Holm or Juanlu Sanchez
Juanlu is unlikely to happen. We could have got him in the summer but Moyes put the kibosh on it. Bobble was very clear, and has continued to be, that Moyes does not see Juanlu as a Premier League right back and thinks he is a midfielder.

I totally disagree with this and Moyes obviously thinks O'Brien IS a PL RB, which I don't agree with at all, so . . .

Ben White isn't leaving London, a likely league title, possibly cup medals, lower salary and anything else you want to add to it.

He is a good footballer, would definitely improve us, but his ultimate goal in football is to get what he can out of it, he isn't a KDH who just wants to be able to play..

No negativity about his ability, it's just a non story

He’ll get both of those though won’t he, as he’s played in both competitions? If he came till the end of the season he’d be starting every game, still needs to keep match fit and not totally buying this indifference as he’s been a pro for nearly 10 years. I think Dibling needs are greater than a homely cuddle! ;)
The CL medal is a stretch. He's from Dibling's part of the world so it's possible they have the same accent so they could buddy up,and bring the best out of our wonder kid 😉

I agree unfortunately. Wouldn't mind him if his heart was in it but I severely doubt it would be

Because we've got about 9 players to come back into the team in the coming weeks/months.

What players are available in January that are going to improve us, that don't screw us for FFP or whatever it is these days?
