January Transfer Window 2026

I've seen a couple Ben white is apathetic about football posts , what is the context behind that?
I think he said he doesn’t watch football for pleasure in his spare time. The dim wit Southgate couldn’t compute one could say that and still be a completely committed model pro. There's absolutely no suggestion of Ben White being anything other than a model pro at any of clubs.

I think he prioritised going on holiday instead of playing for England and was quoted of saying something along those lines. Anyway he played 5 champs league and 5 prem league games for arsenal in can't imagine him having any interest to move to us.
That’s not true. He couldn’t answer some questions about how Arsenal played the previous season in front of the squad and Steve Holland, on of Southgate’s assistants accused him of not being interested enough in football. They basically didn’t manage him well for England so he refused to be selected then he was briefed against by England.

Let Moyes go in May.
Give Iraola the keys.

Simple this football lark.
Jury out on him. He did well not to get sacked after playing us two years ago. Last year, he did well from the 87th minute after we battered them.
Has good runs and bad runs. Done well with a strong recruitment process but like with Brentford, he’s got 9,500 home fans to appease, the bar is low.
I’ll watch with interest how he does when he steps up with great interest whether the step up is to a CL team or somewhere in the middle.
Frank is struggling, Potter failed, Santo even… doing well at a low level club with limited expectations is so different from coming to us or going higher than that

He absolutely is. He’s not Leighton Baines but his link up play and crossing are very good. He overlapped all the time at Arsenal whenever I watched them. I think you need to manage your expectations if you think we can get someone better than him.
I'd like a younger, less expensive, more conventional full back and ideally someone who doesn't come across like an absolute weapon, but the last bit is negotiable.

Statistically, last season he profiled in the bottom third of all full backs for his crossing both in volume and success. The bottom 1% for take ons and the bottom half for carrying the ball and it wasn't much better the season before.

Sounds great. 35m with add ons?

Ben White on loan would make total sense to me, fills 2 possible positions and we can look at a long term solution in the summer.
Would he leave to be a filler here when he's doing the same at Arsenal with a good chance of a Prem winners medal and a very outside chance of a CL medal. True he's probably be a weekly starter here but if the rumours are true doubt he's arsed about that. South coast lad though so would help Dibling with his home sickness.😉

He’ll get both of those though won’t he, as he’s played in both competitions? If he came till the end of the season he’d be starting every game, still needs to keep match fit and not totally buying this indifference as he’s been a pro for nearly 10 years. I think Dibling needs are greater than a homely cuddle! ;)

Everton's season in the toilet...
Grealish to be bought, Holm spoken about, Ruiz linked.
What a football club.
Thing for me is prob europe out of the question but getting some new players in this window. Hopefully still end the season strong with a more fixed style of play. Just hope the keane red will push us to go out in the market
