What did you expect to happen last Jan immediately after a sacking ?
That window can't be counted..
You don't want him here and that's fair enough, but the point of that post is it takes time, no matter who is in charge..
Football Insider, so almost certainly totally made up.
No idea why people both posting 'rumours' from BS websites like Football Insider or News Now. My dad thinks that anything in News Now is basically kosher.Football Insider, so almost certainly totally made up.

The Piv needs to look at what Sunderland did in one window, easy to relate to Villa, so don't agree whatsoever
Look at what Carlo did in his season here, not far off it at Christmas then fell off a cliff? to finish 10th?
I’d argue it’s more the manager than the recruitment. Guaranteed if we bought some of their players last summer people would have been moaning it wasn’t a big enough signing etc.I think it's unwise to use Sunderlands recruitment as a guide to be honest, way too early to judge their recruitment. Sure its helped them stay up comfortably but if they're still doing as well this time next season then sure big their recruitment up
You could also look at it as a window they used to try and ensure premier league survival, and that future windows will be used to improve the quality of the squad yet further, only time will tell but they appear to have ensured their survival easily and it will be the next few windows that shows just how good they are at recruitment. The one thing that appears to have been ensured by their recruitment (admittedly i know very little about their squad in depth) is that there are no gaping holes i.e. no right back etc.I think it's unwise to use Sunderlands recruitment as a guide to be honest, way too early to judge their recruitment. How many times have we seen a team come up a do well for a season then fall off a cliff? We are doing ok, not great but I didn't expect it to be, if it is that easy to fix all of a team problems why doesn't every team do it? Moyes has said already that lots of players simply did not want to come, Dibling, Rohl, Aznou etc where probably 4-5 choice on a list, so you either buy nothing or you buy players you have to work with and be patient? The Piv needs to look at what Sunderland did in one window, easy to relate to Villa, so don't agree whatsoever

No they are not known. Stop talking bollocks.I forgot about that.
So Moyes rejected, Sanchez, Truffert & Wesley so far at full back.
If those are the known ones i wonder how many more there have been.
Well its simply not true.
It isnt "one summer window and a third of Jan". In 3 days time it will be two and a half transfer windows as he's ignored January last year.
Wasn’t one window though with Sunderland, they also spent big on the Championship even though they weren’t expecting promotionThe Piv needs to look at what Sunderland did in one window, easy to relate to Villa, so don't agree whatsoever
