really frustrated with jo yesterday when posting on the thread, maybe over-reacted at bit.maybe its just if a player was bought for ex amount i still think he should show some attributes of his worth if we buy him or not.
yeah 3 games is too soon to judge the lad who is obv` struggling to fit in.
that goes as an apology to one and all.

After tonights performance it's hard to see what he has to offer.

Early days yet but were clearly better with Saha up front.

If continues to play like he has for the past two games then he'll be going back to City but it might be fitness and he'll eventually come good.

GET SAHA ON.

Once again Spot on. I had no idea you talked such football sense :D. Pizza and Pineapple where your forte or so i thought.

He's looked no worse than Yakubu did in about 10 games before he got injured.

He had a couple of shots today, 1 good 1 awful.

He wasn't great no but when Yakubu was playing bloody awful the excuse was always "oh but he gets no service from the midfield".

Well neither is Jo. Is it any surprise the only game he has looked good in featured Mikel?

Once the midfield improve so will Jo.

He probably isn't good enough to make things happen by himself yet but he is still fitting in and getting up to pace.

I'll judge him at the end of the season.

Can't really blame him as the service wasn't there, the balance in midfield is similar to earilier in the season when Yak was leading the line. No balance, no creativity and no one moving.

He doesn't lead the line well enough though, he looks a little lightweight. I think he's best played off another striker, as a second striker.

Maybe it's best pushing Cahill further up and let Jo play off him.

He's getting used as a target man because he's big. A Citeh fan came on here and said he's not that kind of player but we're using him like that.

I thought he played far better tonight then against WBA he was commited and ran his heart out seemed more aggressive to, but his frame makes it difficult for him to compete as a lone man up front. Im putting much of his performence down to the fact that the current system just doesnt suit him. I think he could be effective dropping deeper getting on the ball and playing in the hole behind Saha that would mean droping a midfeilder. The service tonigh wasnt great either and we are simply no threat centrally now.

As Toccy said no creativity in the centre but we also lacked a physical presence in there tonight we were bossed out of midfeild.

Thats a good point by death that.

Yakubu looked absolute gash when he first came and many good people (not me) wrote him off and look how he's proved you all wrong eh? EH?

Majority of the fans would be shocked to see how Vagner Love would be looking terrible as Target Man, with our current style. Even if I really, really rate V-Love.

Jo was deeper than Cahill v Bolton, reaped rewards. Since then they seem to have reversed roles and Jo's not been involved much. However had the shot after 10 seconds gone in we would all be raving about him. Give it time.
