Player Valuation: £70m
After watching jos performance in todays game the other weeks euphoria after the bolton game seems a distant memory.
After one good performance and two mediocre ones - do you think the prospect of jo becoming a full time everton player is worth persuing?

There's a reason why, unlike some fans, Moyes wasn't thinking about signing him based on one performance. He may still come good. Moyes said to not expect too much from him, he's still settling in.

Give him time, he's only played three matches and wasn't/isn't fully matchfit, due to the lack of opportunities at City. Thought he was half decent against Newcastle and very poor today. Just lets wait and see how it works out for him and us. Too early to call in my opinion.

I still think his link up play and holding the ball is very good, but he still seems a little unsure of himself, he needs to learn a hunger to make space and get a shot away 'a la' saha's goal!

Alongside Fellaini probably our worst player, needs to improve.

He's got talent but you can see he's still adapting to how the team plays and the pace of the Prem. Our football without Arteta doesn't help. He just needs to think a bit faster and keep the ball.

if he could raise his game by 5mph, i think he could become an excellent player, too many times we was too slow to act on our chances to break today

He was terrible today. I could have done more than him. When he had the ball he either passed back or lost it. Most stikers will run at defenders, but as soon as he got a good ball played in rather than trying to get a shot off, he turned and either lost the ball or passed it back 40 yards.

I'm not going to judge Jo on 3 games. We will all have a good idea at the end of the season.

I'd stick with him, give him more games. Quality always shines through eventually.
If we don't see the quality, we don't sign him b)

ffs, give the lad a chance. He needs a few more games to settle. Yakubu looked ****e for half a season!!

Good call matey.

Jo will come good. Do not forget that Moyes wanted him before Citeh got him.

You have to remember that jo is learning a new role. Jo is used to playing slightly behind a yak type player. He is learning to fly solo ish(before someone says Cahill was with him).

Lescott and Yak took a few games to shine at their natural roles. Jo may take a game or 2 more as it is not his natural role.

I believe he would be man of the match next sunday if he could start alongside Saha. God dam cup tied ****. He will be the one to send us above Arsenal and Villa.

Regardless of who starts, In Moyes I trust.
