Is it ever right to want Everton to lose?

It is never right...

That said sometimes you can take solace in the obvious upside to us losing a game I.e. Liverpool not winning the league or Martinez being jettisoned into the sun post Sunderland etc...

In short up the Blues and Koeman's massive bonce.

I wanted Man City to beat us, I feel I should own up to that. Cleanse yourselves in this thread.

Part of me wanted Sunderland to score a few more after they got their first and we looked sh!te in Martinez's last game. But thankfully that was actually his last game so I never had to feel that way again.

Obvious spanking sunday.
Unexpected spanking on the Thursday.
Its tricky to judge us right now !

Tomorrow will be quite telling one way or another I suspect.

You never know, he might actually give some players with a bit of pace and a few of the younger lads a a run out.

Stranger things have happened

And if we play the pacey wingers, we will win easy.
Then he will bench them for his boring, ineffective set up against Bournemouth.
Sake. Heading to the Koeman thread.

It often causes inner conflict though doesn't it, you can sense the desperation for Martinez to be gone on the day of the Semi final like at least there was an upside to it, not that we wanted the semi to go the way it did though.

Of course.

8f it's a cup final then By no means do you want to see anything other than a win aka Martinez.

But a league game is meaningless to us in the grand scheme of things unless we are fighting relegation or challenging the top 4/European places.

It's a bit sensitive to rule it out, I certainly would welcome a 10 - 0 defeat for example if it cost them lot the title on goal difference.

I want us to win every match as much as the next blue but in circumstances rendering our 3 points meaningless but very important to them lot then I'd be happy. I mean it's not like we lose rarely anyway

Thing is even if you want RK out losing to Sunderland wont do that.

Aside from that Man City, i really didnt see the benefit of Everton winning. There was one against Leeds about 15 yeas ago when Liverpool needed us to win so they could get in the Champions league, night match, i was 50 50 on that until it kicked off, then iwas like narr i want to win this, but we didnt anyway haha
