The GFA itself was ‘impossible’, for decades it couldn’t be done. But then eventually the politicians all found themselves at the end of a road where it then had to be put in place. We are still on the road with this one....
Problem is, it’s the same road. You’re playing chicken with the GFA.
I don’t care if you leave the E.U.
I do care if your actions derail the peace process.

You could not be more wrong. I have willingly acknowledged the injustices of the last 100 (sic) years, have agreed on many points of contrary view but do remain resolute in my belíef that the democratic referendum result should be respected and actioned.

How can you have a problem with that? Or is that the only way you know how to deal with people that don't agree with you?

The first sentence is not why people have problems with your posts. Nor is the second one.

Not sure i even mentioned those as being an issue.

I think you are glossing over the rest of the stuff you posted that got people annoyed.

When challenged on some of what you said instead of acknowledging their issue you talk down to them or tell them outright they were wrong and should but out.

Or you resort to calling people stupid.

Remember you entered a Border thread and went all guns blazing on pro brexit talk and telling Irish people to stay out of it and from there it was a rapid downward spiral with your responses to people

I will happily plead guilty to several human failings but arrogance I don't think is one of them.

You don't seem to realise that the ball is actually in your court and that you would be far better served by organising your own referendum or actioning whatever is your preferred route to your own desired outcome, rather than wasting over 2 years doing nothing but criticising those of us that do know what we want and who are getting on with achieving it the best we can. It is always easier to criticise others rather than do something yourself isn't it!
See, there's you telling us what to do again about a problem you yourselves have created. If that isn't arrogance I don't know what is.

And no, the ball is in YOUR court. You made a unilateral decision to leave the EU, so it is up to YOU to sort out the mess you have made of it while we prepare for the consequences.

It's hilarious.

The ball is in your court but at the same time its none of your business and you need to butt out hahaha!!

He has changed tact since his opening post.

And imagine comparing two sides in a centuries old conflict reaching agreement with a unilateral decision by one country to break away from an arrangement which has brought peace and prosperity to a whole continent.

You couldn't make this lot up.

That presumes that the peace process and the GFA has a beginning, middle and end or is fait accompli, it very much isnt.

The domestic political situation in NI is in tatters and its worst ebb since the GFA was signed and put into practice. There hasn't been a domestic Government in NI in two years. That is being enabled by the current British Government being in collusion with the DUP.

This might be worth a read for those who so far have done nothing but complain about other peoples actions whilst doing nothing themselves.

The article pre dates the nominal 'agreement' between May and EU but the consequences hold good in the event of No Deal.

What do you mean complain and done nothing ? What have you done ? It’s in the hands of politicians, this is a thread on an Everton forum . Also In all fairness you’ve no idea what anyone in this thread or any other have done to ensure the security of this country .

If you want to avoid Brexit and the border issue then, insofar as it affects NIreland/Ireland the ball is in your court to deliver an alternative outcome such as unification for example.

Brexit, as a stand alone subject, is a UK wide issue and, I know I don't need to remind you, is not the sole preserve of N Ireland and its concerns over the border.

With a statement like this you wonder why people are giving you a hard time.

What have you done yourself? What do you expect people in here to do anyway?

Love how pro brexit people like yourself blame the opposition constantly. You guys say we are complainers and moaners despite the fact you injected yourself into a thread just to the very same thing. Complain about Ireland and those from there on here for getting annoyed and involved.

Because the U.K. wants to leave the Eu Your solution is technology that you don’t know exists but believe does although you have no specifics . However if that’s challenged you expect those in the north and south of the island of Ireland to come up with a solution to rival your technology belief for a problem Brexit and it could certainly be argued history has created .

No it is not. Again you can continually throw that out there but it doesn't make it true. England decided to pull its kingdom from the EU after a democratic vote. Its up to the leaders of the UK to come up with a solution to its border not Ireland nor the EU.

The fact you ignore that and have ignored the comments from others and continually repeat this nonsense show you are arrogant and again out of your depth when it comes to Ireland north and south and why they are aggrieved by the childish antics and lack of planning and foresight by the British government.

the very fact four people have told you that they are annoyed that once again England never even considered the borders or the GFA or how NI felt about the whole thing when they planned their brexit strategy even before the voting took place.
