You really didn't read the posts properly did you. I happily acknowledged the case of both Scotland and N Ireland and, for the record, it goes back a lot more than the 100 years that was quoted, in both cases.

It's a shame that you hit the Send button before properly reading what you are responding to, but not really surprising.

The phrase 'spring loaded to the offended position' would appear to best describe your debating position.

It’s a bit like the ‘stoning scene’ in the life of Brian. They can all throw stones and decry any positive suggestions, yet never offer one single positive. They’ve had two years practice of just rubbishing any view other than their own, and even now with just over two months to go, are just happy saying ‘it’s all the fault of the English’.......personally I can’t wait for the end of March....

Don’t you think that’s a little unfair , if you’ve read his posts then the replies seem fairly reasonable. We aren’t all going to agree but you must be able to see it’s going to cause comment when an Englishman chucks about freedom and independence in a thread about the Irish border ?

Nowhere near the same but regarding the general posts I find the suggestion that it’ll be sorted because as yet undetermined technology can be used or that those 150, 160 WTO nations are going to change their rules to allow us to be border free pretty frustrating, how can you debate a belief ? It’s like conversing with a creationist or I’d imagine a fundamentalist.

You know he didn't read his posts nor the majority of responses. He saw he was pro brexit and everyone else was challenging him so we are all bad blah blah blah

No one on here has the answers. How could they when we have dedicated teams of people spending their entire working week trying to formulate such answers that are politically acceptable. It’s difficult, it’s complex, but it’s not technology or process holding this back, it’s just political posturing, positioning and objectives.....

I agree nobody has the answers , the reason in my opinion though is because they’re hard to find . A debate where somebody says “it exists though , even Though I know know nothing about it “ seems bizarre if I’m being honest .

Nobody is ‘bad’, nor necessarily ‘wrong’. We will eventually arrive at an acceptable solution when the politicians stop playing their games......

The GFA itself was ‘impossible’, for decades it couldn’t be done. But then eventually the politicians all found themselves at the end of a road where it then had to be put in place. We are still on the road with this one....

Haha!! Ah yes the generic response of someone who can't accept they are wrong and have no rebuttle or retort.

Sink or swim what are you even on about?

Having read the rest of the nonsense argument posts you are trying to put forth its clear you are full of it and have no clue
It's the usual arrogant posturing towards us from someone who thinks he knows best despite having been shown to be wrong on several occasions. Seen it all before - there isn't a hint of compromise, only 'we want to leave the EU with no deal and we're taking our part of Ireland with us, so stuff it if you don't like it and move to the Republic'. I'd pity this myopia if it wasn't so damaging for us.

Again no argument but it wasn’t done by mystery technology, it was done by goodwill and a willingness to talk . Physical problems are exactly that , I stand by saying that face recognition technology or advertisements for technology are the answer when people working in that field tell you it isn’t has to be folly doesn’t it ? That or something akin to religious belief and we all know that’s something that can’t be argued with .

Debating with you is pointless. It is like arguing with an idiot who tries to drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

In the meantime, No Deal brexit is 2 months and 22 days away.

Debating?

None of what you post is debatable.

All you have done so far is talk down to people with your guff about how you are right and everyone else is wrong. You don't listen to anyone's points nor respond to them properly other than to repeat yourself. You have tried attacking people who live in NI and Ireland telling them how wrong they are.

When someone does debate you, well this is the sort of response they get.

When you want someone to take you serious and have good honest debates talking down to them or insulting them isnt the best way to go.

I will happily plead guilty to several human failings but arrogance I don't think is one of them.

You don't seem to realise that the ball is actually in your court and that you would be far better served by organising your own referendum or actioning whatever is your preferred route to your own desired outcome, rather than wasting over 2 years doing nothing but criticising those of us that do know what we want and who are getting on with achieving it the best we can. It is always easier to criticise others rather than do something yourself isn't it!

You could not be more wrong. I have willingly acknowledged the injustices of the last 100 (sic) years, have agreed on many points of contrary view but do remain resolute in my belíef that the democratic referendum result should be respected and actioned.

How can you have a problem with that? Or is that the only way you know how to deal with people that don't agree with you?
