I’m far from a Pro-Royal, don’t like them, but I know where the line is.

There is no line to be drawn on a football message board. The two things are not really linked here.

People should not be called classless for just being honest.

Some people have major issues with someones death being way more important than anybody elses. And I kind of get that.

I do think people can control this stuff better. This forum (or any of its ilk, not just here) was never going to be the place to talk glowingly about a Monarchs passing. There are built in social reasons for that.

Is it a mark of respect though? I mean what does it do? Nothing really.

Black arm bands, maybe the anthem before the game (at grounds that will be OK with it anyway).

Does anybody actually ask these people what respect they would like to be shown? The Queen would probably be fuming that they pulled the Horse racing if anybody bothered to ask her.
