The blonde pensioner in the scene has a very checkered history with her maj's law believe it or not, a journalist got hold of tapes she had made and she tried to pull a fit up claim against them. Got found guilty of perjury or similar, had an attack of the vapors and got whisked out of the dock in an ambulance.
Now that was acting. So far as the scene goes, weren't there three more thesps that could have weighed in a bit more gravitas... "she was a classy old bird that one, yeah, not like the slags round here..." etc...
