Jesus i can't believe i let this one slide! That sentence is an absolute contradiction in terms. Without McGuinness and Adams plenty of peoples loved ones would still be alive!

Thats not the question. To many people there was a war on. Those two led the IRA to a ceasefire in the face of huge opposition from hardliners. To be clear I'm not saying they (or anyone really) are without faults, many, but they were pivotal in securing a peace.

I will say that they do deserve credit, for convincing the vast majority of the republican movement to move away from violence.

That's something though isn't it? I mean isn't that something? You catch a glimpse of a celeb and you know at least your time hasn't been wasted.

I missed out on The Antelope (a rollercoaster) at Gullver's World because of Windsor Davies but I don't begrudge him; he brought joy to millions with his antics in It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum, Never the Twain, and countless Carry On films.

It's the same thing. At least I can say I saw him.
I read that as Warwick Davis and wondered what had happened. So what did the cadburys flake hawking half a Brian Blessed do to cost you a spot on the antelope?

End of the day and his entourage jumped the queue, meaning some who were about to get on lost out. I've no hard feelings.

Oh dear how sad never mind!! lol

"The public" really means "the media and political establishment" here. The late Queen wasn't a threat, William and Kate do not appear to be (as opposed to Harry and Meghan) but Charles speaks his mind and worse still is often proved right.

He does seem a complex person but he has been years ahead of society on loads of issues - aesthetics, pollution / ecological collapse, global heating and inter-faith relations to name a few - and more people had listened to him earlier we would as a planet be in a better place now.

As King, and with the government we have now, I can't see him keeping quiet if things head south or if they start to trample over his long-held opinions and efforts. This might cause constitutional issues, especially if he achieves political support for standing up to them (which I think would be extremely likely).

Rather than continue leasing the offshore sea beds for windfarms for £billions, which the Crown bizarrely took ownership, King Charles could just put them into public ownership thus reduce the cost significantly on this particular renewable energy for his people.

Not entirely sure mate, but think the cash goes straight to government.

Glad to see these fellas having their collar felt for giving Andrews heckler a few digs. Old bill wasted no time nicking the heckler, for rightfully calling out that nonce.

Truss obviously told the Queen what she planned to do with the economy and it tipped her over the edge just thinking she wouldn't get as much for her pound. Someone needs to revisit the cause of death.

I have a blood donor appointment for Monday evening. I have O- blood, so I’m a “universal” donor (basically a super hero, just without a cape), so always give blood as often as I can. I am always getting emails / texts from Blood Donors, telling me “our stock of your blood type is critically low, please donate” etc.

Just got a message to tell me that due to the funeral (which is Monday morning), my appointment (which is Monday night), has been cancelled. Along with, I assume, all other donations for that day. Next available appointment in my area isn’t for another month or so.

So that’s another important medical thing being cancelled en-mass, to add to all the cancelled surgeries, check-ups, tests etc.

‘kin unbelievable.

"Blood supplies have fallen to a critically low level in England, which has made NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) declare its first amber alert.
Hospitals may have to postpone some elective surgery, but emergency care will not be affected.

Overall blood stocks in the NHS stand at 3.1 days, but levels of O type blood have fallen to below two days.
The NHS is urging people to come forward and fill empty appointments at large donor centres. O blood groups are in particular need."

Oh...... so now we have 'critically low levels', and NOW it's important? Bells. I wonder how many pissed off people whose appointments were cancelled last minute decided not to rearrange their donation, which has contributed to this?
