I can imagine that if I had grown up in Nigeria I’d find it very difficult to not have emotive personal bias about the genocide and also probably feel, rightly or wrongly, that the Queen could have done more behind the scenes to stop the atrocities.I suppose that she may not fully understand that the Queen was not in charge and may have been confused by the title her majesty's gov but would say that as someone holding an academic position she should take an evidenced based approach as opposed to one of emotive personal bias - well in public at least.
Get back to work, Larry, and don't forget to doff your cap like a good lad.I’m pondlife
Different continent, different geopolitics and different reasons mate. They do have a lot of respect for UK, not only the royal family. The embarrassing bootlicker ones won't
You wait until Charles sings the line I'm all shook up in his broadcast and you tell me he ain't the king.Having a King is gonna be confusing
I mean, they will keep saying 'The King this' 'The King that' and all I will be thinking it's about Elvis
We have spent our whole lives being told Elvis is King and now this fraud shows up.
Via RwandaHe has been deported back to Peru.
Everything went so well for Charles I and Charles IIYou wait until Charles sings the line I'm all shook up in his broadcast and you tell me he ain't the king.

There is a big difference between respect and actually being bothered about it though.Different continent, different geopolitics and different reasons mate. They do have a lot of respect for UK, not only the royal family.
I guess its not THAT weird if you think about it.
Isn't the whole schtick stuff like The Queen is dead, long live the King" etc?
Yeah it's a bit weird because hardly anyone has lived through such a thing. Will probably get used to a bit more in the coming years.I always thought that was the convention. But like all of us, based on never ever heard it before.
I live in America. "Quality" over here is a very dubious statement for the majority these days, though it certainly beats out the alternatives in a lot of places worldwide.I was pointing to the quality that you enjoy in the place that you live - if you are in the west.
