Neither do I which is why I have repeatedly posted about the ones who I think are doing an exemplary job deescalating tensions.

Unfortunately I expect you could have the same intentions by two different officers but depending on the area they serve they can be perceived in totally opposite ways. If the lawlessness reaches a tipping point then they are just reacting to events and no matter what you do thereafter it appears you are manhandling protestors.

The good communities that generally abide to peaceful protests and only have the odd bad apple to try and deal with help the police become more 'human' shall we say.

Agree there are many instances where context matters and there are an awful lot of people under huge stress.

But there are also a non-trivial number that don’t have any of those ambiguities , including a lot involving clearly credentialed press rather than protestors, and each of those actions have huge downstream consequences for both public order and the police themselves when the whole thing was triggered by an act of police brutality.

For instance I can’t see any context where these actions are justified - it is just being a monumental ass even if you try and help the poor bloke up afterwards

Speaking of which.

Then I assume those who are pro-fascism will get the same treatment, because if not, what your orange lunatic has stated here is that if you disagree with him it’s a criminal offence. Fascism right there.

The land of the free it was once known as. This statement is the opposite of that.

I doubt he even knows what fascism means.

The policeman involved, I saw the horrific clip, should have been arrested and charged with murder in my opinion.
But have also saw clips of people's shops and property been robbed and burnt, people who have had nothing to do with this, that's wrong and a blatant attempt by some people taking advantage of a tragedy. Condolences to the family over the murder of their son/ brother. This will not be solved by more violence from either side, only by talking and honestly acting over the decisions made.
That's fine in theory but Who, in power, was willing to talk when Kaepernick and Co. were taking a knee.
