Martin Luther King said “Riot is the language of the unheard”.

You’d have to be blind not to have seen this coming.

People are complaining that those rioting should be demonstrating peacefully, however when black Americans were protesting peacefully by taking the knee, they were roundly criticised by many, including the president for doing just that.
While I won't condone rioting, I do appreciate this point. Like I said in another post, looting is something where I start to see the line becoming blurred.

His ex-wife grassed him up.
It may be him or may not be. @TheBigIguana is saying his department are vehemently denying it, so perhaps they've got cause to do so? I am sure we'll see.

However, the point that his ex-wife is accusing him does bring about its own issues regarding validity, which I suspect most people will understand.

Aye. But of course they'd deny it, like I said.

It's mad, but wouldn't put it past them to pull something like that.

Im not condoning it either. I’m saying it’s not unexpected. Rioting and looting generally go hand in hand, an inciting incident, an explosion of anger, a loss of state control, then others will take advantage.

But would they? With the situation as it, I'd personally expect any semi-competent force to say they'd investigate it very, very quickly to help control the situation.

If they deny it and it was eventually proved that he was the culprit, the situation could quite easily become even worse.

A quick check to see if he's on duty etc. and if so any tracking devices could quickly collaborate this story or his story.

Utter horse dung like that, and some are wondering why people are kicking off.

If they had of come out and said he will go to prison for a very long time might have calmed things down before they escalated into this. Comical if they couldn't see this happening, it has the potential to be another Rodney King incident.

The policeman involved, I saw the horrific clip, should have been arrested and charged with murder in my opinion.
But have also saw clips of people's shops and property been robbed and burnt, people who have had nothing to do with this, that's wrong and a blatant attempt by some people taking advantage of a tragedy. Condolences to the family over the murder of their son/ brother. This will not be solved by more violence from either side, only by talking and honestly acting over the decisions made.
