This isn't hard to understand.

Would that not depend on what part of the world you are in? Just because the country you live in is safe and non discriminatory towards white people it doesn't mean everywhere is.

Yeah but don’t tell people that. See also white people that live in BAME areas within the UK that suffer from discrimination from neighbours etc because they are white.

Once you get beyond the shock value, White privilege is actually really an unhelpful concept that doesn’t really address the social-economic issues that actually create the dissonance. I imagine if you looked at the times white youths who live in the poorest neighbourhoods are stopped and searched the numbers would be vaguely similar.

That’s still at a county level. Talking about if you actually looked at it on a neighbourhood basis, especially those towards the lower end of the spectrum it would probably look much closer. Not saying I’m right either. Hilarious that clowns like you are pretending to be offended by this, literally getting out your pram over a statue of an actual slave trader being dumped during a BLM protest.

Only the thing is, I’d wager that since the statue hit the briny yesterday, that plenty of people in this country ended up learning more about the slave trade from social media etc than they were ever taught at school. Which maybe highlights a salient point.

I’d prefer to keep you off ignore and continue to call you out thanks all the same x

It’s a bit misleading to say that though, only using race when there are a lot of other factors around stop and search.

Most stop and searches are carried out on young poor men in cities at certain times of the day, they aren’t spread out evenly amongst genders / class. This ensures that young black men in particular are much more likely to get stopped.

81.1 per 100,000 for blacks and 20 per 100,000 for whites in Hackney. That does become more disproportionate as you move into more affluent areas though 108:14 per 100,000 in Hammersmith and Fulham for example.

So there is a smaller gap between whites and blacks being searched in more deprived neighbourhoods.
