You know that isn't what he said. He is talking about one very specific situation.

In this specific situation I condone it yes. No one was hurt, it was an otherwise peaceful protest in Bristol. And they took down a statue of a horrible person. You can read my posts in the London Protests thread if you want more on why I don't believe there should be statues of slave traders.

I am not condoning people randomly trashing whatever they please which again I have explained in the other thread. And as I have also pointed out, the vast majority of the tens of thousands of protesters have been peaceful and respectful.

Concentrate on the majority of what has gone on in support of a great cause rather than getting annoyed by a hypothetical situation in which people are rampaging all over the country tearing down statues and defacing monuments left, right and centre.

If we standby and allow this then we set a precedent that will allow them to think they can do it anywhere. They are destroying or trying to destroy anything that offends them, great landmarks in our history.
BLM no ALL lives matter!
Do you honestly think this is going to solve anything?
Are they protesting again say racism or police brutality?
Are they protesting for a serial criminal who spent numerous times in jail and who threatened a pregnant woman holding a gun to her stomach?

This should be an American issue not ours if it’s in protest against George Floyd because our police are saints compared to the US. So why are our police getting attacked? Brain dead moron sheeple who are just following the crowd jumping on the bandwagon because they fear being branded a racist!

Racism is here in the uk but I fear the last weeks events are going to make it 10 times worse than what it was.

It’s amazing when you first read that how it seems like an Earth shattering deal, but when you read what similar programs have done when they’ve closed PDs and it actually seems very similar to the UK system.
