Right and with none of these protests the chance of them being found not guilty would be much greaterApologies - They've been charged not sentenced

Theres been video for the last 10 years tho. Eric Garner literally was killed on tape.I suppose its a combination of the obvious wrongness of something that was clearly filmed, and the possible political benefits some people think they'll get out of it (in the same way that Weinstein only became an issue once people realised they'd have to get him away so they could call Trump a sex pest).
It is bizarre though, there were associated demos in Rio last weekend where cops had killed 177 people in April.
Probably because everyone has been stuck inside trying to figure out how to not go insane.Theres been video for the last 10 years tho. Eric Garner literally was killed on tape.
I don't get it but it is well past time honestly.
So many incidents by cops are ignored by the courts. So the protests are to ensure that the sentence is appropriate and put pressure on the court?
Partly that, partly to raise awareness that nothing has changed since ‘92. Partly because white people en masse are saying enough. Partly a reaction to three years of incendiary rhetoric from trump, partly due to lockdown fatigue and a number of other reasons. So the protests are to ensure that the sentence is appropriate and put pressure on the court?
Just to correc that point...So many incidents by cops are ignored by the courts.
Cops are rarely prosecuted and given the amount of incidents against the people in general wanted to let them know enough is enough and the cops in that incident and going forward need to be dealt with.
A criminal act should not be ignored because a man or woman wears a uniform.
Fair correction haha!Just to correc that point...
I made this point a couple days ago, black people, especially men, are disproportionately affected by cops acting completely recklessly. But they are far from the only ones.Fair correction haha!
Yep I remember that post and I agree.I made this point a couple days ago, black people, especially men, are disproportionately affected by cops acting completely recklessly. But they are far from the only ones.
Told you before, I see right through you, as clear as day.
Can you give me a list of the peer-reviewed studies that you've read. I'd be interested in that list.
Find those protests disgusting in London. Barely an excuse to do it in the first place; no excuse whatsoever for the violence.
