Price 'fluctuation' in value
(was what I was told, they had all sorts backing the scheme, all sorts, local, national and international)

Value was what I was told as well.

I think the club line (it was hinted collymore would address that last night ) will be the costs of the whole project rather than the club but I could be wrong .

There was huge discussion at the time that it was a club fantasy and that is patently untrue given some of the people involved , I know a few bits where the interest came from but MJ knows a lot of the specifics I suspect , I was told it was a huge project and they had lot of cash behind them . The people I knew were involved early on in , frankly , a bid to make some serious money working as 'brokers' or 'football consultants' . I think the confusion came because as MJ rightly said it was a disparate group bundled together under the name which everytime I posted it I put in inverted commas .

Personally I'd look at the other major shareholders, Woods (maybe not so much) but Earl in particular before Kenwright.

I'll be honest I have heard that and more accurately those 'behind the scenes' however its kenwright that positioned himself where he has

Steve once attempted to rationalise Kenwright's penchant for promising money that never materialises by referring us to the great man's stage production of Miss Saigon. He explained how towards the end of the show an actual working helicopter doesn't descend onto the stage, and so the audience must suspend disbelief in order to enjoy it. I believe the point of the story was that in Kenwright's mind - one which is apparently incapable of differentiating between fantasy and reality - there Fortress Sports Fund/Kings Dock money/effectively free world-class stadium could all be there if we'd all just wish upon a star.

It was far and away the funniest thing I've ever seen written on Blue Kipper. I hope for his sake he's a paid employee of Everton Football Club or a fabulous internet troll, because I'd hate to think he's as crazy as his posts suggest.

 Brilliant.

I think he can defend and is getting better every game at it..
Definitely a right midfielder and not a right back... he's like the opposite of Hibbert - which is great for attacking play but does leave us exposed at the back.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer defenders to be able to defend before attack.

I rate him as a right mid, just not as a defender....... like the blue, better version of kopite Johnson... yeah - I did just say that.

I love the fact the Echo not only didn't have the balls to go after Everton to get answers on key questions, but have chosen to not even mention last night's Collymore show.

Puppets.

Mind you, we all know what they're about anyway, the Ross emails demonstrated that. Remember this one from Suntan re countering the BU:

"The people who can say good things about us include (and you know these far better than me):

 • Friendly journalists including the Echo who know they owe us

 • Radio show hosts Parry, Durham, Gray, Snodin
 • Unofficial websites Durkins and others you know well...
 • Certain fans

 • Former players

 • Supporters Club leaders Sweeney, Lyon, and many others who we’ve given a lot to...

 • Industry commentators Cannon etc
And I’m sure others

Even if the above don’t go public, they simply talk to mates, it will help.
"

Over to you Messrs O'Keeffe and Prentice. 'Say good things about them'.

Phillip Green?

yeah i know but if he wants to be the front man for them then he can take the stick!

Oh yeah I understand that Kenwright is 'Everton' as it were... but as the guys on TalkSport were trying to point out to people who were Tweeting calling Kenwright a monster etc he's not the only major shareholder. Yet the others seem to get under the radar. Earl has nearly as many shares as Kenwright and as far as I can tell does absolutely nothing for the club, it might be different behind closed doors but in the forefront he's contributed nothing. But there isn't a @EarlOut Twitter account or anything.

Glen Johnson is a good RB, probably top 3 in the league in all honesty, Coleman certainly isn't better than him.

Coleman might not be all that defensively but he's a hundred times better at going forward than Hibbert and Neville. Those two have been either injured or 'needed' in midfield so there's no other option any way.

Seamus has been a breath of fresh air at times at RB this season, and when you've got someone as painfully one dimensional as Naismith at RM or Osman who just isn't a winger, it's imperative that we have an attacking RB, otherwise we just become even more reliant on our left side and toeying it up to Fellaini.

Aston Villa sold for £63m with a fully modernised 40k stadium in 2007
Newcastle United were for sale for £100m in 2009 with a 50k fully modernised stadium

Everton are for sale for £125m and they blame the lack of sale on an unmodernised stadium.

Hmmm
