Fellaini- First impressions

Laughable post to be honest, one of the few who wanted to play football today. He did nothing wrong and it's hard to make an impact when the ball is being booted over your head.

Ha a better match today, and if we spent £5 million on him i would think we got a decent player...

He needs to have a better idea of his surroundings, because sometime he just didnt look up and see the clever pass. Also, i dont know if anyone has said this to him, but JUMP FOR THE BALL.

i think we should have paid an 'undisclosed' fee for him to save him the pressure of being evertons most expensive player.

I thought he looked decent today to be honest. Got stuck in alot more then he used to was unlucky with the foul on reina too.

Yakubu was a lazy [Poor language removed], he's being outclassed by Saha who had our only shot in anger from the both of them.

The lad didn't have a proper holiday this season, with the olympic stuff.

HE came in the last day of the transfer window and had no pre-season training. He was thrown to the pitch without any rear guard.

He's only 20, so he's still a baby... He needs time to settle!!!!

He's far from being the finished article and he's not in the best conditions to be playing.

He has to be given more protection from the manager.

He shouldn't be starting games right from his arrival.

Spot on, it's typical Evertonians behaviour though to be honest. We don't give players time, we actually make things worse for them by slagging them off and occasionly even booing.

Every player deserves time and especially young players like Fellaini.

I have to say i was very impressed with him today there is a player with potential no where near the finished article though, very quick thinker, good vision. He needs to learn to use himself better, tracking back, positioning and in his understandig of the game, he could also do some work on his fitness, tenacity, and overall tracking back.

Our over all tracking back form midfiled is simply abysmil, i dont care what anyone says, we despreately miss Lee Casley both as a player and leader.

Yeah well I'm sure Napoli are missing Maradona and Careca, but things move on.
