Fellaini- First impressions

Seems to have a touch of the James Beaties about his at present, but i was expecting little more at 20 i always thought we were buying potential, im going to couninute to judge as i do Vic, Vaughan, Rodwell, Gosling i.e. as a young player, not forgeting those mentioned are all english.

I agree with cal that he needs to put himself around more but i remember watching big dunc when he first come on loan, in his first few matches he was getting bullied by all the centre backs we played against.

The lads only had 1 full game with the team. The game against Stoke he'd only trained once with the team and played well. The game at Hull (which I havent seen the full game to comment) he's supposed to have done "ok". And as for last nights game, he was subbed at half time.

Castillo made a great impression though. It seems to me that Fellini and Castillo do the same role but Moyes is wanted to play Fellini more central and push forward which he's adjusting to. Castillo played a good game against Liege because he was the only holding player so he had more responsibility and knew what he was doing.

With the two in the middle they're just finding their feet. They're getting into each others way and arent closing down players, leaving it for each other to stick a foot in and by that time its too late.

But once they get to know each other and Fellini knows his role im sure it'll work.

Spot on kb. Onec they know each others games it will be a lot better. At the moment they go for the same balls an leave the same balls. It takes time to learn each others games.

Yak an Pienaar were [Poor language removed] for the first couple of months here. We have to give them time.

you can tell he is a good player, I think he's having problems adjusting I don't know how many of the squad speak the lads language but it can't be more then one or two. That would have a major effect on him I reckon not being able to communicate with his team mates.

Hopefully in a couple of months when he's settled in and picked up some phrases that will allow him to communicate with those around him he'll be fine.

Yeah, when he's learnt how to say "sort it out Neville you soppy ****" or "[Poor language removed] off Gerrard you puff" he'll be sorted.

well I was thinking more along the lines of man on, pass and that kinda stuff.

But I suppose he'll need to use "Sort it out Neville" a hell of a lot more then "pass".

Welllllllllllllllllllll, i went the Liege game, but i virgin+ the game and watched it when i got in, awesome bit of technokit that virgin+ shizzle i tell thee. Anyway, when the camera panned on to Felliani sitting in the crowd, there was some fine piece of blonde totty sitting alongside him.

Now Mrs Totty didnt look too pleased, i would imagine after living in Liege, Liverpool would be a slight culture shock to the poor girl, sooooooooooooooooo maybe this is adding to his problems? He should bin her off and go for a nice piece of local totty, Jennifer Ellison is single atm isnt she? Maxim Magazine UK .

He must be a right thick **** if he can't even speak basic English! [Poor language removed] me, I'm living in Paris at the mo and every ****'s got a grasp of some kind - even the old duffers driving taxi's
English, along with Spanish is the most popular language in the world, did he not go to school?!

is english on the belgian curriculum?

belgium has three official languages, french, german and dutch. it could well be that he is fluent in all three.

so before you call him thick, for all you know english could be his fourth language.
