On paper it looks good, but I have a feeling our players would struggle to adapt to a formation that is foreign to them. How many teams actually pull off 3-5-2 nowadays? Portsmouth tried it a few years ago but Redknapp said there players where struggling to get it right. Positionally all over the place, and the only player who looked comfortable was Kranjcar, playing in the hole. They stopped using it after 2-3 games.
I think it's something that would have to be done in pre-season and brought into a new season. Preperation would be needed.
