Everton: we look an unhappy camp

So as ive said, if Lukaku got injured and Kone/Niasse/Valencia replaced him and got MOTM, would you be happy to see Lukaku warm the bench for a few games while Kone/Niasse/Valencia played?

You have stated time and time again you dont rate Coleman or Baines, you want both of them replaced by younger players, simply cos they are both over the age of 25.

The boy Mason doesnt even get games for England U21, im honestly baffled you would play him ahead of Coleman, based on 1 performance.

For the record, he was given MOTM by the club, nobody else gave him MOTM.

And hes not even a RB, he plays CB every week for the U23s.

So i would want players dropped as theyre over 25.

What rubbish.

Our situation is awful really, at least under Moyes sides we could grind out results with the crowd on our side. Now it seems since he left, although I'm no big fan of his we're just playing with this pre season mentality. Koemann hasn't impressed me tbh, not his results just his general attitude it seems he's just waiting for the phone call from Arsenal. We have a good side but we just don't seem to put in a decent performance any more. There's no perfect manager but I'd prefer an ex blue or a scouse manager a least they'd understand the views of the fans.

this all day. I never got the logic " oh the backup did well filling in for injured starter..he should be the starter now"

This is true, he has to have been handed the tools to work with first, even so I do think with what we have available we should of done slightly better.

For me a lot of the negativity towards him goes back to the Norwich game, and his lackadaisical post match interview, prior to that we seem to be doing well, then it came apart and we havent got back on track since.

I do seem to remember seeing/reading? that Koeman's teams have a habit of going on 'runs' both shight and good...waiting for the good one here Ron.

I dunno, it just gets me down, reading page upon page of people calling the manager this, the manager that and its always the people that didnt want Koeman in the first place or people like David with agendas to push. You claim "we" have our head in the sand, but I see it the same way, "you" ignore the real issues, the underperforming players, the fact that yesterday we laid siege to their goal for the entire 2nd half.

I just dont share this view that the tactics are wrong or that Koeman isnt doing enough or even that he stop talking the truth with regards Lukaku. So for me, in the list of people to blame, Koeman is fairly low down, certain players currently take my wrath, whoever dropped the ball in the summer is also ahead of him.

As ive stated, its grim, ive stated all season, we arent playing well, I just personally dont blame Koeman for that, if in 12 months we are struggling against shitters at home and playing like clowns, well then I suppose I will understand it a bit more.

Fair points all
I wasn't anti anybody, well in the end Moyes and Martinez obvs. I knew 'of' all the main contenders and Koeman had 'superficial' pluses and minuses as did the others.

But the time to start stopping the rot is not...
after we've seen what the window brings and...
well, lets get AFCON out of the way and...
It's nearly the end of the season and...
We really need a tip top window in the summer and...
we will see after the first 'think of a low number of games'

We went through all this for 18-24mnths with the last one

We don't want to turn into City ( old or new versions) or Sunderland with 10 mangers in 12 yrs

But we all know Kenwright was too soft and if he was still here so would Martinez be too
Sometimes you have to hold up your hands and say this isn't working - try and work out why, and maybe bite the bullet early doors...or at least put the management on notice that you are looking hard at not only results - or lack of, but the manner of said lack of.
Sometimes people just don't fit, not their fault, not your fault...it just is.

Mate it's mean nothing. Galloway is not Gnabry.

Having said that, I am happy to give Galloway a game or two to prove. Oviedo is not doing good as 2nd choice LB.

Nobody is doing 'good'.
Good teams can 'carry' players - only so many mind - but 1 or 2. Underperforming/injured/just plain past it/never had it players get sussed in poor teams

atm we are a poor team.
below par players in poor teams struggle more and appear poorer.
