Everton: we look an unhappy camp

Seriously, how can any of that be interpreted as a windup? I'm not trying to wind people up here. Cold hard truth I am afraid.

I actually understand it mate. Worried people don't want to face up to the cold harsh reality of a team that's already lost its way. It's as clear as day that's happened; the only thing to do is to acknowldege it and discuss it.

Yeah, it totally makes sense to call a manager a failure based on 3months, totally rational and fair.

That's a huge exaggeration of our current position. We're not playing well, and too many players are not performing at their best (forget whether their best is good enough for a minute).

Whilst we are struggling, it's way too early to say we've lost our way. As I said last night, we are 7th, we'd like to be higher but that's where we are.

We are 12 games into a 3 year project, the period between now and the start of next season will tell us whether (i) Koeman can deliver (ii) Walsh and his team delivers, and (iii) most importantly the Board delivers.

There are too many of our friends in denial and want neither to discuss it nor acknowledge it.

6 points out of 21.......tells its own tale.

Horrendous set of fixtures in the pipeline and coming at us like an iceberg.

Yet many on here are like Corporal Jones in Dad's Army :whip:

Them deckchairs need re-arranging, Captain....:coffee:

Im more than willing to discuss it, what do you suggest to remedy this issue?

I mean clearly you have answers, lets hear them.

No sir.....you seem to be the boy with both the answers and the crystal ball.

I am just a poor foot slogger in the Everton army whom can't see the direction we are heading in nor where the next win is coming from.

But I have witnessed us amassing 6 points out of the last 21 and anyone not hearing alarm bells at this moment in time is a far better man than I am

So you have no answers, you only have the ability to cry and moan whilst saying the same old 6 points from 21 over and over again.

Thats all you had to say.

And heres me thinking you had the ability to put an actual decent argument forward, you sure showed me!!!!

6 points out of 21.

Speaks for itself, doesn't it.

I'd say it is the ostriches whom think all is good in the garden whom need to explain the grand plan.

So let's be having you.

If you are able to, explain how all is rosy in the Everton garden.

And why taking 6 points out of 21 is merely a minor detail not be discussed.

And good luck with that :pint2:

That's not being argued. The argument is that the players, after initially applying themselves, aren't committed to the cause and don't look happy. The current slump is alarming and we have some very difficult games to come. The manager isn't helping with his style of operating.

That's it. Just that. And it's undeniable that it's happening. Put your head in the sand if you like.

Ive discussed it, not once have I said we are playing great and that im happy with our form.

I just think that to be having a pop at the gaffer is a bit premature after 3months, I mean its your right to post it over and over again, but im gonna be honest, its tiresome beyond belief.

So whats the answer? Do you think we should release Ronald and look for somebody else? Or shall we give him longer than 1 transfer window and 12 games?

My head isnt in the sand David, its right here.

Same question to you.

Im honestly curious what you both think the answer is.

I gave my answer 3months ago, it was "We limp towards the January window with the utter tosh squad we have and hope we can sign some actual football players in January".
