I criticise our players pal, infact i have been told off on here for doing so. I criticise when it is called for. Hibbert and Osman may not be the greatest players we have, but they are decent squad players and are certainly of Premier League standard. I dont just decide to go on the repetitive bandwagon and blame these two players for each poor team performance. Not once have i heard criticism of Cahill who just has not performed at all so far. He has scored four times in two games recently for Australia but seems not to be interested in an Everton shirt.

Well Cahill is beyond criticism mate, and if you ****ged him off in front of any blue you better duck.

As for Fellaini, well he's still young and apparently has potential, although the jury is definitely out.

ossie doesnt hav the physical attributes to play in the middle for a full season he likes to play the right way but he s just not good enough to do it for 38 games or more if he was there every week we would be callin him all the names under the sun so i guess DM sees it as who will i play out wide if ossie comes in the middle ???

Regarding Howard, here are the goals from Arsenal, and if you watch them carefully, I'm sure some of you might see what I see .

http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/3204688/

Goal 1: Long range shot. Not much chance to save.
Goal 2: Look where Howard is standing. Left corner. Total open goal
Goal 3: Totally flat footed. No movement at all from Howard.
Goal 4: Between Howards legs. Again flat footed.
Goal 5: Another long range shot, and another flat footed keeper.
Goal 6: Very slow reaction. The ball is almost past him before he dives.

Here is the Burnley goal :

Look how far off his line Howard is . He lets this type of goal in regularly from long range shots through being too far off his line all the time .

FA Cup final

Flat footed again on 1st goal, so no movement.
2nd goal look how far off his line he is. He starts to move backwards but it's too late. Lampard has seen the opportunity and bang - all over.

I could show lots of examples of Howard not being in the right position, slow reactions, and flat footedness from last season but I have a life lol.

I'm not being nasty towards Howard here, but he is not sharp enough anymore and Moyes needs to look closely at him.

Only my opinion, so go easy.

In all fairness mate, he is playing out of position.

He should replace Fellaini soon enough.

I cannot disagree with you here mate, but i am sick of Osman being made the scapegoat along with Hibbert when 9 other players are on the field of play with them. Howard was at fault for today's defeat and could have cost us twice on Thursday when he could have given away a penalty and should have been sent off. I have heard no criticism of Howard on hear, just the usual trash that it was Hibbert's and Osman's fault. And what has happened to Cahill??

Lampard and Drogba strikes at Goodison a few season's ago are prime examples. Great goals but how far Howard is off his line is beyond belief. I rate Howard highly but his positioning is at times questionable and today is no exception.

much of the blame goes to the naive manager who made a circus out of the Lescott affair. If he'd have negotiated an acceptable fee behind the scenes, there would have been a replacement in weeks ago, and perhaps some depth in other areas. neither would you have players coming out in defense of Lescott, leaving a dark cloud hanging over the dressing room.

Wrong on so many levels.

There has been criticism of Howard. As for Cahill, all you can say is that he's an attacking mid/striker playing a central "creative" midfielder.

The thing what gets people, or at least me, about Ossie and Hibbert is the fact that they offer nothing on the right, completely nothing.

At least when Anichebe played there he just went out and out forward and did more than Osman has on the right wing has ever dont IMO.

Hibbert and osman are championship players at the moment.
How many times do moves break down on the right hand side.
Cahill has also started of [Poor language removed] and has got to move up the pitch behind the striker and fellaini i,d move back to the bench.

Players being played out of position and players not good enough to be starters in a team looking to break in to the top four.

Its been a constant problem for ages now and doesn't look any closer to be solved.

We've had bad starts to seasons before so I'm not panicking.

But jeez, to see us thoroughly outplayed in two Premier matches doesn't bode well for our season.

If we can get just one or two more players in plus Yak, Arteta, and Jags back, I think we'll get it turned around.

Exactly. It did work last year, but once sussed there's no plan C because of the squad size.
