We have no central player to look for the ball and make some runs. We have a lonesome striker, even when we have 2 strikers on the pitch. Fellaini does absolutely nothing compared to his price tag. Osman wastes my visual time, and I just wait for Jo to do nothing.

**** that, if he can't find a player that he feels can do the job, than quite frankly he isn't doing his job right.

Getting a bit sick of hearing the excuses from him to be honest, and all the demented talk. Not interested, just give the fans what they deserve and stop [Poor language removed] footing around wasting time trying to show Mark Hughes you have a bigger sack. It's just pathetic.

We knew 5 ******* years ago we needed to increase the squad, and he bleated it back then, so what is the delay?
So your optimism took all two matches to turn into this?

Moyes has been able to sign one quality player every season - after selling someone first. The rest he has bought have been young hopefuls etc. What he has signed have generally been great signings. How many thought Jagielka was a great signing for instance? Or even Lescott? Do you think Everton would do great if Moyes signed half a dozen hopefuls in one go? Some teams try this, actually.

So say he dithers. Look at last season. He could only sign players after he had sold Johnson. Again it looks like players only arrive after Lescott is sold. A coincidence?

There are three figures doing the rounds over at Bluemoon: £24m, £22m and £20m. I'd be gutted if we didn't get the first of these considering we could have done them at £22m weeks ago. Basically, we've held out for a paltry £2m at best.

He was always gonna go, which most of us knew. Moyes was perfectly placed to read the situation, which he didn't. Or if he did, he overestimated the cards he was holding.

Now we have the problem not only of potentially spending this cash, but also in attracting players to a club that appears up [Poor language removed] creek. If i was Defour (for example) I'd certainly be less inclined to join Everton today compared to 3 weeks ago.

IMWT

I dont know, the premiership is a big attraction, they could want to improve the squad and shine, and most of the time we can offer higher wages that what they're on. I'd like to believe we've got a bigger profile than most to attract players.

I've almost forgot that we reached an FA Cup final in May..

I'd usually be mad at a result like this but it was expected to be honest, even in our 4-0 win against Sigma it was very clear the team needs sorting out. We have a very average central midfield, Phil Neville at centre back and a very limited right handside. Sort it out please, as soon as possible.

We can still have a good season but it just shows, once again, that lack of preperation and leaving things very late will cost us.

I'm always optimistic at the start of the season because I'm a believer - but when the window is getting closer and we are losing players like there is no tomorrow, you tend to lose that optimism. I'm a realist and the reality is not looking to good at the moment.

Basically we have no plan b or c, and that's Moyes being a tit, rather than me being negative. I was always be optimistic because we have good individuals, but you have to start questioning where the priorities are at the moment.

Season before he got Baines, Jags, and Yakubu in....cant remember who he sold though but there was about £20million worth of players.

100% right mate. Fellaini, i have no idea what he offers other than his height? Jo is not a premiership player. I have no idea how anyone paid the money for him they did, they basically got a left foot, and nothing more.

Im not defending him (which it seems like I always do), but at the moment he's the link up between the midfield and the striker....but if the midfield isnt coming to help out, what can he do? Especially when all we do is hoof it too him. That always looks like a 2nd option to him but we use it as a 1st. He like the ball at his feet, he laid the ball off well to the wings, his tackling has improved big time. But still he can only do enough as Cahill isnt a central midfielder that backs him up. Its just all messed up.

Its like dropping Fellaini and putting Cahill there and just hoofing the ball to him then not supporting behind him - he'd look poor too.

another pathethic result yes i know its only the start of the season but the sooner i see the day we offload jo and felliani ( both r absolute crap and the scout responsible for gettin these should get the death penalty)and ossie and hibbert are only there to make up numbers for the team photo at the start of the season the better

and yes the next game im goin to be sshoutin for them just like all in the opast is forgotten but we will not always get away every yr with havin such a piss poor start

we are trying to fit players in the midfield when their isnt room or the right balance.
He has to pick either cahill of fellaini and put the other on the bench.

the situation with osman playing wide right is getting desperate now.

Cahill runs, chases things down and is a nuisance. He’s a far better player than Fellaini will ever be and it should be one or the other, depending on who floats your boat out of the two.

But the midfield, bar Pienaar, is very average. Rodwell’s talented but he can’t do it all on his, he needs help and Beevis and Butthead simply aren’t providing it. When the defence has the ball Rodwell, Neville and Arteta drop deep and look for It whereas Fellaini and Cahill just run forward. It leaves us with one central midfielder and two target men playing in the middle of the park.

The sooner we sign some players the better.
