Just watch us get £20m, which we could have pulled in 4 weeks ago, and therefore strengthened, and not had all this crap hanging over the squad, stinking it out.

It's a joke. But still, what can you do? Moyesie is still the best man for the job. He winds me up sometimes, though.

Exactly. The rumour is £25mill I think though. But yeah, he could've easily had said from the off "I'm not selling but if you meet my valuation of £30million, something might happen" which is what he's only done since last week, rather than just be bullish and flat out deny him a move. Reason why is because, quite frankly, £25million is a ridiculous fee for Lescott.

We'll probably get £18 million.

And Moyes probably knew this weeks ago.

He's just trying to sign players before we officially have the Judas money. Inflated prices and that.

Pretty obvious really.

I'll be glad when Moyes walks and we get Paul Jewell.

He'd get us Dean Windass. Guaranteed goals.

He may sign a player before the season starts. You know, so we can have a team instead of mismatches all over the place. Just a thought like.

55k a week, you would think you would put some effort in, instead of showing Hughes the size of your jewells.

Literally the only thing stopping me going mental at the moment is TB's description of Yobo's "ridiculous banana hoofs".

I like your thinking. He can play in goal two. Its a win win.

I know its early days but Im comparing our team to Spurs at the moment -

Cudicini
Corluka Bassong King Assou-Ekotto
Lennon Huddleston Palacios Modic
Keane Defoe

Howard
Hibbert Neville Yobo Baines
Rodwell
Osman Cahill Pienaar
Fellaini
Saha

We need to get players in to compete with them IMO. I know Yak, Arteta and Jags are back but it still doesnt compensate for the right side of the team, as well as some steel in the middle of the park.

A lot of understandable reaction to a piss poor performance, personally I look to Moyes over this. BK did not pick the team, work out the tactics or do the subbing. It is all down to Moyes who persistently picks his faves regardless of form. He really is not at all adventurous in using players.

We now we have money problems but getting players primarily comes down to Moyes. Looks to increasingly that the 15 mill on Fellaini was stupid, not worth anything like that, lot of money wasted.

How many days to get players in?

The only thing frustrating watching Everton at the moment is watching them on some dodgy channel that keeps stopping every so often, and listening to Barry Horne chat [Poor language removed] for 90 minutes.

There are three figures doing the rounds over at Bluemoon: £24m, £22m and £20m. I'd be gutted if we didn't get the first of these considering we could have done them at £22m weeks ago. Basically, we've held out for a paltry £2m at best.

He was always gonna go, which most of us knew. Moyes was perfectly placed to read the situation, which he didn't. Or if he did, he overestimated the cards he was holding.

Now we have the problem not only of potentially spending this cash, but also in attracting players to a club that appears up [Poor language removed] creek. If i was Defour (for example) I'd certainly be less inclined to join Everton today compared to 3 weeks ago.

Well what I don't like is the kick off, 5 seconds in, Hibbert - oof!! have it, just setting the tone.

Happens EVERY GAME! LOL. Not - kick off, pass back, give it to a midfielder, bring the ball out.

No, its - kick off, pass to a defender, Saha/Jo run the length of the pitch, defender hoof.

But I could see Yobo actually trying to play a pass today...but most of the time nothing was on so he punted it. He did bring the ball forward quite a lot though, especially in the 2nd half, mugged off a few players.

I think there's a slight extension to 1st September, 5.30 p.m.
