Because they didnt really bombard the defence. Set pieces and crosses were mainly what the defence had to deal with, but one on ones or opening up the defence they didnt do.

They got the win mind, but still I dont think Neville was put under too much pressure.

I always wonder how it is explaining why you like a team to people who don't really understand such things?
I'm sure they are likely to think, "cant you pick a team who wins with style" "a team like manure or Liverpool (spit)"

I have several relatives who are American. Any time i try to explain football and the appeal to them i go round and round in circles, until i give up and talk about Baseball

Believe me if you have watched us play our first two league games there is already cause for concern if your being truthful. We are backing ourselves slowly to the edge of the cliff. I'm not saying we will be relegation fodder but it will be difficult to keep pace with Spurs & City now with their burst out of the gates.
