Well then why is he selling? It was obvious for the past couple of weeks that City would muscle him away. Moyes could have made the best of that, got his £22m, made reinforcements, and got on with the football.

He let us down. And please don't come out with some type of rubbish about Moyes being this great, moral man. He isn't, he's a shark. This isn't a high school coach, it's a man on £65k a week, that will do pretty much anything to come out on top (lawfully of course). Moyes likes to bury people that cross him. This is what he has been concentrating on lately. He wanted to bury Joleon and Hughes.

<still love you, mate :D>

We I never thought of Moyes that way. He has to be a shark in the transfer market as all managers do.

If he in fact went through all of this, instead of to keep a player, but to spite them and another club, I'd be very disappointed to say the least.

So the blame must lie at Moyes' feet. If he cannot assemble a team that play to their strengths and play his players in the correct positions, then he is the route cause of the problem. He has played Osman and Anichebe out wide in recent times, both are not right wingers. Has it not occured to Moyes that he needs an out and out right winger??

Yeah of course it has.

Him, Bill and Bob have been looking for the players we need since June you know.

Just such a darn shame that they all want too much in wages, will cost too much in transfer fees or aren't better than Leon Osman on the right wing.

That don't leave many (any) players to actually sign.

More likely to be the fact that Kenwright is too much of a tight arse to spend slightly over budget.

It worries me as i do not think there is a quick fix i.e new RB,RW,CM.

we have to go back to basics and drum this long ball (easy option) mentality out of our goalie and back four. i can only remember howard throwing the ball out once, and that was when there was 30 secs left of time added on.

its the training ground where we need to sort ourselves out aswell new faces.

we all know or should our strengths lie in our "spirit" oh and "not giving up" which is totally fantastic but when the boat has been rocked like it has been and i believe this is the 3rd season of DM that we have started as badly, those qualities take a hammering and why ?????

all the above are basics of everyday footballers all over the country when you take it to another level as in to express your ability thats is when you become good and we dont have enough of this type of player in our team ....we all me included cry out for better football but we will never get it DM has taken some ave players and got them to perform well above their own standards by the above principles he hasnt got them to get on the ball and pass and move so i dont care who you are or who you play for or where you play once you are based on a system or been hard to beat have spirit blah blah take that away and you have serious problems

Midfield has always been our problem and it will remain so until either Moyes decides that we are going to play continental football no matter what players we have, or we somehow have enough money to sign players that are good enough to disregard his tactics and play properly.

Aparrantly so - £24mill. 2nd most expensive defender behind your Rio I think.

We were shocking today. At least your lot didnt have there shooting boots on. We just didnt turn up...and missed a peno...which was a dive, which are the best really.

Cant see us finishing above Citeh or Spurs to be fair.

Early season mate very early days

Trust in Moyes who is a top man

I really admire him for his stance with Lescott

You will be ok (y)

Saha returns to normal , but in truth , he weren't the worst . Thing puzzles me ; we are currently playing both Timmy and Screech in positions other than that where they can be most effective , i.e, score goals , though seem to gain no other benefit than to fill positions 1-11 . I don't know . We start slow . It's what we do , but I thought before , I can't remember Timmy having 3 shots on goal in 3 games , excluding todays fairly weak attempt 2nd half .It needs addressing asap , for me .
Bodies in . Arriba , arriba .
