Benfica played about as well as they could play last match so I don't expect a repeat performance from them.

It's 4 o clock in the morning and I've just got home (wearing an Everton shirt no less) and am looking forward to the Benfica game on Thursday, still all to play for, that 5-0 was just horrible, but at the old lady, a chance for revenge.

Glad Halloween is out the way, what a load of testicles that is.

Is it on Channel five, or ITV, i don't know, oh please have it on terrestrial television so I can tune in, will check the listings.

Would have been more optimistic if Jonny H was playing - we may have stumbled on a system that suits us with Jonny H and Rodwell playing deep behind either Fellaini or Cahill. Best thing is with everyone fit we would have a pool of 4 to pick from there in Arteta, Neville, Jonny H and Rodders.

Will prob see either Cahill or Fellaini drop into Jonny's slot (come back super Lee Carsley). Wonder will Osman or Pienaar be back for this. Anyone else happy thats it Nov - with Jags and Arteta beginig to make their recovery.

I'd go like that, Saha and Yakubu upfront and hopefully, please, please, please, Bilyaletdinov and Pienaar in the same team.

I know we are more suited to the 4-5-1 but this is at home and Europe is a different ball game, Benfica certainly aren't a physical side despite there obvious qualities.

Just get the ball into Saha and Yak's feet and let them do the business, we'll have something to build on.
