No matter what team we put out I'm having home made pea & ham soup for tea on the night. I'm feeling good about this game for no apparant reason, I just think we're moving in the right direction as a team and we owe this mob a spanking. Brown rolls with the soup by the way.

Mrs W out on Thurs? then, not your usual sumptious feast

Lets hope it´s freezing cold, with horizontal rain,They´ll hate that.lets hope we get a north european ref.(Or a spainish one as there is no love lost between the two nations.)Lets hope Pienar is in the line up,and Billy(the slasher) we ´ll have some flaire. With Yobo and Bains back they will not find our defence so accomadating this time round. They lost 2-0 away to Braga Saturday ,they also lost to AEK away,So like the famous Portuguese green wine they do not travel well. Lets give them a right royal blue welcome .
Everton 3 benfica 0 COYBB!

3-0 Everton , Hibbo hat-trick. 1-Sublime chip from just inside the penalty box . 2- Bullet header from a Billy corner ( Cahillesque).
3-A 40 yard screamer that busts through the net and takes out the first two rows of the Gwladys.:D

Hang on ! After the first goal there will be a mass riot , the match will be abandoned and Everton will be thrown out of the competition:(

I hope ,for all our sakes, he leaves his shooting boots at home

Got some odds for a home win , but im gonna wait till I get the team news as i wont be so sure if we play another patched up team.

I'm confident Moyes can slip a well oiled finger into the anus of Jorge Jesus.

And keep it up there for 90 minutes.

The finger of victory.

Do you really think this game requires his special move? Is the situation that critical?
We haven't used the Davie's cheeky win finger since we beat Fiorentina at Goodison.

in the words of Kevin kegan i would love us to beat them i really would.
but still think our defence is fragile, and we are really missing a midfield general who can see a defence spliting pass.
