I loved Goodison mate. I miss it constantly. But lets not pretend that it wasn't dead for years before we left. Soul has nothing to do why the new place is dead 99% of the time.
It has something to do with it sounding like 2 blokes singing in a giant warehouse. Wasn't like that at Goodison. The acoustics of the new place are catastrophic, at least from what you hear on the telly

I mean, I think we’re so close to 5th points wise because everyone else has been so rubbish, not because we’ve been any good.

And we picked up the bulk of our points when most teams were still in pre-season mode.

Sick of newly promoted sides coming in every year and it seems like we’re the newly promoted side. Keeps happening, every year now the quality in the first 11 gets worse and worse and we constantly bailed out by one or two individuals.

What’s the point in signing the likes of KDH and Ndiaye if they’re followed by Beto and Barry?

Shouldn’t have to be relying on Pickford having a blinder to keep us to safety or stay competitive at all.

Moyes is the complete overhaul you nini.

It takes time you cant just rip out the whole of the club staff and put in new ones and hope for the best. There has to be a transition period.

Weve been relegation fodder for near half a decade now moyes has come in got us safe and were no where near relegation and we are dark horses for Europe in less then a year.

Yes the last week has been frustrating but so is every manager. Let him put the foundations down and then we can bring in another manager to build on them.

But this idea that bin Moyes off and bring in a "progressive" manager and everything will be okay is insane. Look at west ham there getting relegated because they got rid of moyes for a progressive manager and they nearly got relegated before that because they got rid of moyes for a progressive manager untill moyes came back to save them.

It was getting a progressive manager that caused all this in the first place. Martinez, koeman, silva, lampard none of them could hack it. In fact the last progressive manager that we had that did well was moyes!

Imo moyes is here till his contract runs out maybe even longer. So id make my peace with it if i was you and while hes here theres no dount in my mind we'll improve year on year.

On current showing looks like it could be a relegation battle.

Mate we started playing there this season and our results suck. Based on the results it is becoming a good place for the opposition to visit. Or do you want me to say oh it’s a fortress?????
If results where crap at Goodison and they're still crap now then its obviously nothing to do with the ruddy ground is it. So how exactly is the new place a gift?! Its nothing to do with the stadium. The team is just crap and so is the manager.

Moyes is a cancer that hasn’t ever been cut out of the club. Seeps into every level of the club.

Complete overhaul needed so that we stop thinking that weeks like this week are anything other than absolutely catastrophic.

We should be firmly in the European places and yet everyone can’t wait to reel off excuses about afcon as to why we are crap as if we weren’t crap before then.
Why should we be firmly in the European places? I'm genuinely interested. I don't think that this squad is anywhere near good enough to expect top 6-7.
