Sunderland were in the Chapionship a year ago
But if you use that logic to dictate expectations for every team, no one would improve because everyone would be progressing at the same pace. Promoted teams that do as well as Sunderland are few and far between and have no baring on our own expectations. We're midtable instead of worrying about relegation, that's acceptable progress by Moyes

It has something to do with it sounding like 2 blokes singing in a giant warehouse. Wasn't like that at Goodison. The acoustics of the new place are catastrophic, at least from what you hear on the telly
Goodison was absolutely dreadful for years before we left. Outside of a handful of boss matches the place was utter silent most weeks.

@Zatara come on mate you can do better than the middle finger which I think should be replaced for a thumbs down as I find it as offensive as some of the censored words on here and too easily used by some 😀 so what tactic would you use mate?

Ball on the deck.

Joe Royle style football. All action mix it up, no fear.

Aznou, Armstrong & Dibling to get sigificant minutes every single game.

A team to be drilled with patterns of attacking play and defensive shape leading to counter attacking tactics.

In short, this season we should have been developing a significant amount for next season.

We have not developed any young players and we sit 12th.

I think you might be in the wrong place, Happy. This is a thread for discussing the latest Everton match, if that isn't what you want to do maybe you should try the WWE thread or something.
Right oh. Game was bad. Pennos worst ever. Squad thin. We go again. People's elbow inbound. That ok ?

Moyes is the complete overhaul you nini.

It takes time you cant just rip out the whole of the club staff and put in new ones and hope for the best. There has to be a transition period.

Weve been relegation fodder for near half a decade now moyes has come in got us safe and were no where near relegation and we are dark horses for Europe in less then a year.

Yes the last week has been frustrating but so is every manager. Let him put the foundations down and then we can bring in another manager to build on them.

But this idea that bin Moyes off and bring in a "progressive" manager and everything will be okay is insane. Look at west ham there getting relegated because they got rid of moyes for a progressive manager and they nearly got relegated before that because they got rid of moyes for a progressive manager untill moyes came back to save them.

It was getting a progressive manager that caused all this in the first place. Martinez, koeman, silva, lampard none of them could hack it. In fact the last progressive manager that we had that did well was moyes!

Imo moyes is here till his contract runs out maybe even longer. So id make my peace with it if i was you and while hes here theres no dount in my mind we'll improve year on year.
Then be relegated…
