Obviously you wouldn't turn it down, but I'm not sure CL qualification would be a good thing for us (not that it will happen anyway).
We wouldn't win it. I'd much rather qualify for a tournament we'd have a semi-realistic chance of winning, rather than struggle to get out of the groups of.
It's a double-edged sword in a way because you'd be able to attract better players if you're in the CL, but you're effectively saying that it's a trophy there's pretty much no chance of winning that we are in and I don't know about anyone else, but I would take any trophy at all now.
On the plus side that gives Branthwaite time to fully heal up, and hes one of our most important players.Looking at Chelsea's run in, we could well overtake them. Our biggest problem might be that we have a three week gap to the next game, so we might lose momentum.

He won't need to be a guest, he'll probably be reffing it!sign some full-backs and a decent striker and we'd be away.
I was actually wondering if playing counter-attacking in the CL might not suit us better than trying to get around some minnow's low block..
In any case, if by some miracle we do spawn it in there, we should definitely invite Pierluigi Collina as guest of honour to the first fixture.

Why does it have to be a negitive for multi club ownership? You own 2 clubs both qualified for europe, Fair play well done, they cant play in the same compitetion so we have to premote one to the next level.. There is a realistic chance thet Roma and Everton both qualify for the conference, premoting one to the Europa also solves their problem.I love how we are earnestly discussing whether its worth getting into the CL this season, or whether we would prefer to finish lower down the table.
Id love to just finish in ANY european spot, which is going to be very hard to do. The higher up the table we finish, the better as far as Im concerned. Sure, a cup win in Europa or Conference would be so much fun, but theres no telling where Roma finish(and what competition they might kick us down from), and the higher the finish the more likely we can attract better players in the summer.
Plus its just more fun to win more matches and finish higher
His cousin assaulted a child, kicking off, caught on camera saying 'do you know who I am. My cousins plays for Liverpool'Who is his cousin?
What is the latest updated position on the Everton Roma situation does anyone know?Haha, we all know how this plays out!!
1. We finish 5th and get Champions League qualification. Liverpool 6th and Europa League.
2. Last second of Roma's last game, they score to qualify for Champions League themselves and it comes out that TFG never sent the fax in time cos, well on March 1st there was ZERO chance of us getting Champions League right?
3. We are disqualified from the Champions League and our place is awarded to.... Well, you get it.![]()
Looking at his barnet, I'd say Ken Dodd.Who is his cousin?
Yeah it's ugly for sure, but still does the job for them I guess.I agree, but when it comes to their “modernised” stadium, I’m reminded of when I drove past Anfield with my youngest a few months ago. I pointed it out to her and she screwed up her face and said, “what THAT is Liverpool’s actual proper stadium?! Not very good compared to ours is it?!”
