Who has the best chance of reaching the Champions League next season? Why could Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa winning European trophies mean there are 11 teams in Europe in 2026/27?

I notice Liverpool play Brentford last game of the season at Anfield.

The better way to look at it is we denied ourselves a place in Europe. Things are on the up, so at some point we'll be able to dust off the passports. We have to be accountable for our own performances and not rely on teams around us.

It's going to be harder not to qualify for Europe this season than qualify.

I expect a European spot from this point. There'll be little excuse for not securing one from all those spots.

If we dont get into Europe it wont be because Liverpool lost to brentford on the last day, it will be because of our mostly horriffic home form.
